Deer are eating my emerald green arborvitaes. Going to replace them in the spring. I have 21 feet length by 7. 5 wide space I need to fill with a natrual privacy fence. What species of juniper(s) would you recommend? Preferably 25 feet max height no lower than 20 as I have an elevated deck and like to maintain privacy while on the deck. Live in MI and would be on south side.

Could you take some more aerial photos of your property. I can see from an old one you did about fertilizing your grass that a lot of things have changed. For example you added the chicken coop. I love all the ways you decorate your landscape you are definitely inspirational. Anyway I would love to see a new aerial photograph.

Question! New to gardening, and trying to get a feel for this since I want to start planting some trees this season! Love some of these options. Ive found a couple I like, but I'm in zone 8 (SC) and for a couple I've seen the zone seems to be 5-7. Is it okay to plant in a zone above the range given?

Hello, i couldn't help but notice the beautiful tall concrete looking planter you have. I've been looking for something EXACTLY like this. Any information on this would be s0o0o0o appreciated! Where you bought it, or a name so i can browse for something similar. Thank you in advance! -Elvis

I just found your page and I am excited to learn from you. We bought a house a month ago that sits on 3 acres land. But unfortunately water here is very expensive and plants are expensive. I am wondering if you have a source where you purchase your plants at a discount price.

Laura, you're planting those conifers too close together, Remember, each one of those Cypresses will grow six feet wide, you have them planted given 3 ft. Only. it'll be a problem in one year and they will look like a giant grown together spaceship.

You are soooo talented! I absolutely love watching these videos! I just wish I could have you help me with a plan for my small front landscaping. We are in northern Ohio and I can't seem to keep my plants from dying through the winter! Any suggestions?

The sky was so beautiful when Aaron was digging the hole for the big tree in the corner. With all your permanent plantings such as trees, perennials shrubs your property value must have shot through the roof! Great investment for a long term gain.

That is going to look great! Yep thats is what happens to me when I buy plants, I either over buy and come up short or under buy and have to go back. However, I dont mind it is a great excuse to go to my local nursery
