Landscape Makeover Part 2: Planting for Winter Interest & Running Drip Irrigation! jessica: Thank you so much for being detailed and making this look simple. After being away for week at a conference for Young Living, my husband had to do my watering chores. Once I returned, he is now on board for installing a watering system. We are a zone 6a and get pretty hot sometimes where I have to water 2x day. After seeing this video, we are going to shop for our items to get our gardens on water drip. THANK YOU again for all your videos.

Hi, can you speak just a little more on converting the sprinkler system to drip irrigation? I need to do the same with my sprinkler system; however, I didnt think you could have drip and sprinkler on the same zone due to pressure differences. Thus, the one sprinkler you converted to your drip supply is it now on its own separate zone or is also with the lawn sprinklers? Thanks so much!

I havent heard you mentioned adding a Y-adapter in the few times youve talked about installing drip irrigation from a hose bibb. Would installing that on the hose bibb so that I could run drip and also have a hose for doing other things be okay or would it reduce flow to the drip line? Each connector on the Y-adapter has its own shut off valve, so I would think itd be fine, right?

Thank you! I was just pondering which dwarf evergreen to add to my front yard/driveway entrance. The Mugo Pine you just showed us ought to be perfect; it'll add year-round interest & a lovely fragrance. I also love that it produces white blooms. Yay!
