I was watching this video on my tv and I can't comment on there so I had to get on my iPad to make this comment: what a sweetheart Benjamin is this has been the sweetest show I've seen! So educational experience for him to taste the crops that grew in the garden. Love the mmm after each strawberry haha!

Wow, I will admit; I don't even have kids and had no intentions in my life of having children. But the ending scene with Benjamin made me so emotional. What an innocent and pure interaction. I'm so happy that you are able to capture those small moments to treasure for a lifetime.

The mytery squash looks like a small cushaw or amish neckpumpkin! I ditched posicle sticks too thery just domn't work! so i ordered plastic labesl to use next season TFS! Lots of great meals in your future! lol Bend it like Benjamin! What an adorable little peanut!

So many capsicums! Love them in a tossed garden salad. Also heaps of rockmelon considering the plant was so small on that little A Frame. Tomatoes in a paper bag to ripen? I havent heard of that, good tip. Ive always just kept them inside in a sunny spot to ripen.

Benjamin is so adorable! Off topic question: Mulch is wonderful EXCEPT it seems to provide a favorable environment for weevils (black vine) that love my ornamentals and completely decimate the leaves. What do you suggest for controlling/eliminating them?

Beautiful squash, pumpkin, pepper, and tomato harvest, what fertilizer did you use? Our summer was so hot and dry this year that nothing did very well. I have a few squash and pumpkins, but borers and powdery mildew got 70% of the plants.

He is THE cutest! I just love watching him! I've never seen a lil guy love strawberries as much as he does (and still does. Seriously! That boy can ALWAYS put a smile on my face!
