My sister in law was just married yesterday and while we were cleaning up the hall today, I asked to take some of the flowers they pulled off the cake and just put some of the flowers in a press and the roses in silica gel. Just went back to watch the pressed flower video and am looking forward to making them a little momento from their wedding for their tree. Have you ever preserved any flowers from your garden in silica?

Hi Laura and Aaron loved the video definitely something my mom would love to receive, when do you normally start decorating the inside of your house for Christmas? Would love to see another video of you I enjoyed the one from last year. Aron would you be willing to make your own vlog when you put up the lights outside loved how it looked last year a tour would be amazing! Keep up the great work!

My 5 year old niece just got a report card that was advanced in every subject. Her reward today for a job well done was a shopping trip to the baking aisle of our local mom and pops store. We made these together today and it is the nicest feeling dough ever. We had made salt dough ornaments but they do not store well. We have high hopes for these! Thank you, Mimi & Lola

This would be lovely for a garden club Christmas tree. Ours is displayed at a local nursing home for the month of December. A year-round branch tree lit with fairy or LED twinkle lights would be beautiful with these pressed flower ornaments, too! I loved the tip from a viewer of making vintage ornaments by replacing warm water with coffee. Thanks for the video!

Great idea! Thank you so much for sharing. We used to make ornaments similar to this with the kids and they would put their thumb, or finger or hand prints on them and paint them.
