Our Favorite Chicken Tortilla Soup! (Plus I Harvested a Lime from My Own Tree! ) Garden Answer Sarah: Just tried this and it was absolutely delicious! I doubled the corn and beans and added 6 shots of Frank's red hot sauce towards the end because I forgot the jalapeno altogether. Also added a 1/2 teaspoon extra of all the spices to bump up the flavor because I added extra ingredients. We skipped cilantro because I'm weird and think it tastes like soap. Lol any who. its delicious TRY IT TRY IT YALL! Also we used restuarant style tortilla chips and scooped the deliciousness that we had topped with avocado, shredded cheddar and sour cream. Thanks for showing us the recipe!

Is the contest over?
I love your videos. I live in an apartment, you encouraged me to grow vegetables, so, I am growing an onion and lettuce. I saw your beautiful lemon and lime tree. I am hoping to get started on those, too. You're not only the best gardener but you cook the best taco soup, too. Thank you for sharing your gift of gardening. I so appreciate it.

I made this soup today and we are serving it to company tomorrow. But I tasted it, and it's really, really delicious! Thanks for sharing! We had some leftover cooked turkey, so I used that instead of chicken. I didn't have a spicy pepper (and my parents wouldn't like it, anyway, so I diced up some celery, instead. Other than that, ;) we followed the recipe, LOL.

I assume your chickens are pet chickens? The farm to table theme of your cooking videos made me question for just a moment. Nice move going from gardening to crafts to cooking. Would like to see piano playing videos some day and also community garden projects. you can help beautify your local neighborhood and parks for example.

I love that youre so excited about the homegrown limes. I love my homegrown limes and lemons! And it make me chuckle that you said you can grow corn, squash, etc. but new to limes. For me its the opposite Ive grown limes for several years but cant master growing squash or corn! Haha Ill get it in time!

Yes, the onion reaction was so real. And checking the pot with your hand and your reaction was to die for when you realized it was hotter than you realized. Your cooking videos are the best. My enjoyment level is off the dial. Keep it up.

I would love any set but that indigo makes my heart sing! I love chicken tortilla soup. We get homemade tortillas weekly from my mother in law and they get gobbled up! Better save some for this recipe!
