Making Birch Wood Succulent Ornaments! Garden Answer Teresa: Those ornaments are so cute. Does Benjamin have a Christmas tree in his room? If so, does it have a theme? My son has had a tree in his room since he was about 3 years old. Throughout the years, we have gifted him a special ornament to put on his three. He enjoys decorating the tree each year with his special ornaments. The filler ornaments on his tree are little wooden vintage ornaments that decorated my tree when I was a child.

I love this video, love that you are using a live plant, that Kalanchoe is so gorgeous, it looks like a rose, very stunning. Thank you for telling us about the hot glue, I was wondering about what it would do to the plant. I love your cute little pots, where did you get them? are they at your parents garden center? I really enjoyed this video, such a great idea for an ornament. Thanks Laura and Aaron, see you soon, bye for now.

QUESTION: Do you have a hot glue gun you recommend? I did succulents on top of pumpkins for a Thanksgiving centerpiece using sphagnum moss and hot glue, just as you have done. They actually turned out great (much to my surprise) and still look good. But I have a really cheap hot glue gun. It was a pain to use and made a MESS. I'm looking to upgrade to a nicer one - perhaps even cordless. Thanks

Wow. I'm not really into succulents at all but I'm impressed that you (by experience) can blot them with hot glue and they survive. Since I have no experience (at all) with hot glue, when you remove the succulents, is the hot glue like that annoying rubbery stuff on a new credit card where you can just rub it off and there's no trace of it?

Super cool! What if your tree topper was a potted plant for this tree challenge? Like, maybe you used red dogwood branches and magnolia leaves and stuff like that in place of your ribbons, and your tree topper was a potted plant? I dont know how that would work specifically but I think it would look so cool!

Classic Garden Answer video. Before watching so many of your videos I didn't even like succulents. Thought they were weird and alien, haha. But somewhere along the way I grew to love them. Thanks for showing how beautiful they can be! The red edged kalanchoe you used is stunning!

These are adorable Laura. I made some Christmas ornaments but with fake succulents. Yours are so much cuter because it's real succulents. I am having flashbacks watching you use the glue gun because I got burned pretty good. Have a blessed and merry Christmas.

I have two questions and they dont necessarily pertain to this video but I was wondering if you could show how you take care of your elk Horn Fern and second how do you make your beautiful bows for your Christmas trees. Thank you very much

So basically, succulents are like the sloths of these plant world.
I think I gave up on them years ago because I killed them with too much water.
Perhaps I'll give it another go.
Thank you!
