Laura, I would love to have you do videos on shade, sun and part sunny tolerant plants. I also would love a video on just petunias and what varieties work best in certain places. Ive watched you plant many kinds, but get confused as to where each thrives best. I also would love a video on hydrangeas. Ive had to rip out certain kinds as they apparently were not getting enough/too much sun. I currently have panicles that bloom well for me in full sun. The ones that need part sun really stump me. I cant get any of those to bloom. I also love your videos on new perennial and annual plants. Definitely keep that up! Thanks so much for your videos. At a time in my life that I thought I might give up/ cut back gardening, you have reenergize me to keep going.

Hi, Laura!
My name is Victoria. Me and my husband live in the north of Italy right now in a house with a garden. Ive become a huge fan of yours recently and wanted to ask you a question about grow light shelves since weve decided to construct a winter garden/greenhouse. Anyway, the question is what is the best company to choose in terms of that matter? How strong the lights should be? The climate here is humid all year around, very hot in the summer and there is no snow in the winter, so it doesnt usually go below zero, and maybe you could also give us some tips concerning other equipment we should use/add to our greenhouse.
Thank you for reading the letter! Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

I got a ticket and its a dream-come-true for me! Last year I had to choose between going to London and Paris in June or going to first Groupie Gathering. I had never been to Europe before, so for most people, the choice should be obvious. I had to really think about it though, and I wasnt sure what to do. When I chose London and Paris (and had a great time there, I was still sad to miss the chance to see your garden! For this reason, I am thrilled to be able to join the Garden Answer Gathering this year!

Thank you for your videos. I have learned so much from you. We would like to put some plants or shrubs for privacy between our house and the neighbors. However, it is in a spot where water pools during heavy rain or when snow melts. I planted some red twig dogwoods from roots last year. I wont know until spring if they have survived. Can you suggest some plants that will survive in partial to full afternoon sun, that can handle a lot of water? Preferably quick growers, if possible. We're in zone 6a.

Yes, I would love to see a video on plants for shady spots. I love trees so wee have a lot which means not a lot of sun. I love love white flowers. So some great white blooming flowers for shady spots. Also. I have a question. When you put killer on plants ( like to kill slugs and snails) will it harm the frogs and toads, lizards, butterflies and birds? I am scared to put anything on my plants or grass because I love the critters in the garden just as much as the flowers.

Thank you for the light's that stays on, that does make sense for such a large property and I just so enjoy your videos.
We have the same selection of plants here in South Africa ( Somerset West Close to Cape Town) so I will be following all the guidelines to the planting and caring
of all the plants I select for this season. We have lots of wild Irises that are lovely filler plants to fill the gaps I don't like to see bare ground
it must be covered.

I LOVE your videos! I wasn't sure if you answer questions on your old videos, but I watched your Make Kokedama video and wondered if you could use this type of gardening for herbs or veggies or even strawberries? I think they would be so cute hanging in a kitchen window with herbs! You could hang them in your chicken coup! I hope you respond and maybe consider doing another Kokedama video soon! Thanks!

Hi! Always find your content so enjoyable, helpful, and inspiring. So far as future content, I'd love to see videos on how you (or you and your parents) go through the landscaping design process. How do you start from scratch, from a plain yard with little to no plantings and create your outdoor spaces. What designs tips can you share, what tools have you found to be invaluable?

Would love a video on outdoor plants flowers & shrubs & groundcover that focuses on disease/mildew resistance. Living in the Pacific Northwest this is my biggest problem in the garden. Crying a little because the groundcover I planted 5 years ago which finally filled in around the stepping stones in my lower garden has blight and now I have to rip it all out and start over
