I Went Kind of Crazy With Pansies! Garden Answer Branka: Hi Laura, I want to give you some ideas how you can make some changes on your flower beds in this video! First i will take out those little two beds near pat ways and do all grass. Second, the f. bed on the right side your house were is a weeping spruce(i hope is writing like this) i think is to big, probably you will short him when you make a new side walk. And behind the weeping spruce I'll take out all that shrub with who you are covering something near the house and do also side walk like you have all over your house. I know and i feel how much you like plants but you don't have to do so much f. beds near your house. This is only my opinion. Thanks. Kisses from Europe-Montegro.

So gorgeous, I love pansies they just seem to add so much beauty. So fun to see Benjamin helping his mama out, and then we got a little bit of Russell, such a fun video, I'm glad that the weather is getting warmer and soon we can start working on our gardens as well. Pansies were my mom's favorite flower, so in honor of her I always plant some in my flower beds, and with this color I think I will be planting some more this year. Thanks so much Laura and Aaron, we all need these calming videos with all of the craziness that is happening right now. Take care and stay safe and healthy, much love and hugs, bye for now.

Blue and yellow, my favorite colors! Mama's little helper at the beginning. he's so cute! I love how you planted the blue pansies to circle the cutouts. that looks so pretty! My tulips (the few that survived the great vole attack of 2018) have just barely poked through the ground and my daffodils are about 4 high. We're gettin' there! As a healthcare worker, I can't tell you how good it feels to have a day off and forget our troubles for awhile by going out and cleaning up flower beds and seeing what's happening in the yard! Thanks for showing us the pretty spring blooms and keeping it positive Laura!

YAY! We just some stuff to plant this weekend as well. It's been so nice seeing so many people get out in the garden. I know the circumstances aren't great, but I am happy people are getting outside. We spent the morning picking up soil for some of our neighbors that aren't able to be out and about right now but wanted to garden so we volunteered tom help. We are all excited to be out gardening. Love this color combo!

I have a question - (I am new to gardening and I really do not know much) - we recently moved to a house with nice grass all around it and we would love to plant a flower bed. Does that mean we have to remove the grass where the bed will be, so there is just soil, or the grass can be part of the flower bed as well? Is it just about the visual side of it or there is a practical reason behind it as well?

Love your plantings. You looked like a planting maniac when you speeded up the video. lol I wish I would have the stamina like you have. It's really a good thing I don't have a lot of flower beds. It's so hard to keep up with them now. I'm glad I have a lot of perennials, we may be in lockdown up until July. Have to enjoy what I got. Stay safe, stay well.

I can certainly identify with you wanting to plant blue flowers, thats been my thing this year, seems like everything I plant is blue
, but then Im adding some white also, here in Florida we can plan early and with these bad times the whole world is going through, its so good to be able to get outside and at least do some digging in the dirt.

I wish I could buy some flowers and start some arrangements. But all our garden stores are closed at the moment and I don't know when they will be allowed to open again. But I love watching you and your enthusiasm. Oh and at least I have some seeds left and can watch my little vegetables sprout and grow. This is so cheering me up.

What a refreshing start of a long day. As most of the world stuck at homes your continuous effort to bring out joyful videos reminding us how beautiful is nature and gardening. Unfortunately we got an early spring cold snape and a bit worried about my peach and apricot blooming. Looking forward for more of yours, great videos.

I planted pansies along my walkway last fall and they look amazing this morning. When should I look at replacing them? Im in Virginia and it starts heating up in May. Also does it make sense to pot them for the summer and keep them in a cooler place in my yard or just treat as an annual and trash?
