A bit off topic of today's video, but in the early spring (thereabout) you planted an area using an espadrille. I think it was a raised box bed, and the espadrille may have been a birthday gift. Just curious how that little area is doing. Maybe an update video, or an update photo in a weekly recap video? I remember it being a bit unusual in that it was in an area not many would normally see, but you felt that even though it was not as visible, it still deserved to be pretty. it was such a Laura thing to do

I have planted Supertunia Snow Drift this year hoping to get the spectacular overflowing ball you had shown. but nope. They got leggy, small blooms, and the spent ones do show, begging to be deadheaded. I am using the PW soluble fertilizer you recommended. They get sun until 2-3pm or so. I had to cut back quite a bit to get a bushier plant. but now I am spending too much time without any flowers. :(

Your containers are just gorgeous! I know this question is a bit off-topic, but do you use a starter or slow release fertilizer when planting succulents in containers (or in the landscape? Id like to give my container succulents a strong start, but am not sure whether bio-tone (or the Proven Winners slow release) is a good option for succulents. Thanks!

We always seem to be vibing, Laura! I planted nasturtiums in containers this year, too! A first for me as well - I was a little unsure if I was doing the right thing and I do not regret it: D don't you just love the lily pad look of the leaves! Another super helpful and thoughtful video from you, thank you!

I planted a blueberry plant in a pot this spring- it didnt produce any fruit. What am I doing wrong, will it skip this year and produce next year? Also my strawberries only produced 4 berries and a 2-3 more berries were ate by something- I had 3 plants. Should there have been more fruit? Now they are dead.

Such great information for new gardeners! But, also, great reminders for those of us that have been at it for a years.
(NOTE TO AARON: consistent not consistant. 7: 57 mark Well, unless you are in the 1700s I only mention it because you and Laura are as detail oriented as I am. and I'm a grammar snob )

Are you allowed to take cuttings of proven winners or are they patented? (or whatever the version for plants a patent is)
And also have you ever taken proven winners cuttings, if they grow so fast woudn't it just be cheaper to buy 1 and take a bunch of cuttings ( i'm guessing with no real experience)
