Doing a Few Things in My Parents Garden! Garden Answer Dorothy: I love the tours of your parents garden. You are so fortunate to have grown up in this environment. It has made you're whole you are. And that's the beautiful woman we all know as Laura. I just want to say that I worry that you might be working too hard now that you're expecting a new baby. Please reassure me that your feeling good and that you're not getting too tired. I know that you're love of the gardens is your life but you need to take care of Laura and baby!

Just had to say I love the concept of the Ryobi tool. I own a similar cordless tool made by Worx but it has an extra 6-inch hedging blade you can swap out with the shearing head. I also think mine is lighter weight because the battery is smaller. I have extra batteries but honestly by the time the battery needs to be swapped out I'm needing a break so it works out great.
. I was holding my breath for you when you tipped over the fountain head!

Oh I envy you so much Laura, currently going through a difficult pregnancy (we will be having our babies around the same time. Unfortunately I am not able to do any kind of effort and that leaves out gardening for this summer. Its so hard as I know there are tomatoes to be pruned, weeding to be done etc but unfortunately it will be left undone this year. Anyway, always a pleasure to watch your videos!

I really love your childhood garden that is just so beautiful, it is what a dream garden of mine would look like. Maybe someday my tiny yard can have that feel when I get all of the plants and flowers that I would like in it. And I have you for my inspiration Laura and Aaron. Thanks for sharing I really enjoyed this video. Sending love and hugs, bye for now.

RASPBERRIES! Your parent's garden is lovely and those raspberries looked delicious! How do they care their raspberry plants to get such big berries? Also, do they stake them up to keep them off the ground? Would you ever consider doing a video on raspberries and other fruit bushes? Thanks for sharing - I look forward to your videos everyday!

Hi Laura! I think you might like using the Sthil version of those trimmers. Not sure if you get them in the US but Im a professional gardener in Australia and I love using them! Our team has lovingly nicknamed them the Ed Sheerans ps Im not endorsed my Sthil! However, Sthil hit a girl up, I need a pair for my personal kit

Laura you are such a breath of fresh air, your sweet calm voice and beautiful smile is a blessing to all who hear and see you. You stated you didnt do much at your mom and dads but as a lady almost eighty, I can tell you they will be grateful to have one less thing to do when they return. Hugs from Northern California.

I'm realizing we have the same summer weather in west Texas, dry, windy, and hot. Thanks for talking about your growing conditions and showing how to succeed in it. I will make a lot of changes next year in terms of plant choices, watering, and fertilizer (Biotone to establish a strong root system).

Wait, what? Chard is awesome. I share with my chickens, too. but cut the chard off the stems, saute in some of your garlic, pop in a pie shell, top with feta and beat some eggs and cream s&p and pour over it all. baked until temp is 180. divine. Yo, chicky, up your veg eating game! Said with love!

This was a very sweet video. I loved how you walked around and talked about your memories. Most of all, when you said, OH Crap I do have to fill the fountain. So excited for you and your growing family. Don't feel bad if you need to take some breaks, you earned it, and it's important.
