Filling Up Our Root Cellar! Garden Answer Jeri: Laura, you can just feel the excitement and satisfaction in your face and voice! I have a concern about the 2 boxes in the floor, if you switch them around, the black one wouldnt stick out as you enter the root cellar and you wouldnt hit your left foot as you cut the corner. Love watching and learning with all your videos. Keep then coming! Wishing you, Aaron, Benjamin and your whole family a safe and healthy Happy Thanksgiving.

I know this was one year ago, but I just moved in October so this is my first year having a root cellar which is built into the basement of the house. So convenient. After i cleaned out the last person's garbage and clean it thoroughly, I must say I'm so thrilled to have one. Now I'm collecting baskets and shelves to store things. Also, someday could you give a squash and pumpkin growing tutorial. Thank you.

I love all your videos and this was great.
Please tell more about the electronic controller that makes your air conditioner cool more as you said in video that it could actually make room go down to 35 F - that is amazing! I need to know about that electronic controller. Thanks!

Is gardeners vermiculite safe to use (7: 40, especially in an enclosed space? Asbestos present in old vermiculite based insulation is deadly, but what about the fine dust from the bagged garden kind? Unsure what facts online on this subject are true.

Hi Laura and Aaron! The root cellar turned out really nice and the studio is starting to take shape. Just curious why you would want a heater in the root cellar? Thank you so much for sharing and I'm looking forward to the cooking videos.

Hi Laura, thanks for sharing the information on the honeynut squash. I found them at the local Sprouts Market and found a great recipe for sausage and apple stuffed honeynut squash. This will be a part of the Thanksgiving menu

Would you consider doing a video on your storage systems for all your gardening tools? Im curious about how you find a balance between function and aesthetics when it coming to storing all the equipment and tools required.
