You look fabulous. I hope she is eating and sleeping well and you all settling into the swing of things with one more family memeber. Love, from a mom of 10, Christi in Utah.

What to Buy? I was going to buy the bamboo Led grow lights or even the new Oslo 4 tier led grow lights. But I was not sure about the high of the lights for growing seedlings. I thought you needed to get the lights lower and closer to the trays at first. But here you just place the trays on the shelfs with the top covers. Is there a different high for different seeds?

Unrelated. could you talk about your csection recovery? I, myself, recovered quickly after an emergency csection and was walking around within 6 hrs after surgery yet everything I read online is the horrors or extended recovery time with csection and I think they add to the stigma of it. Its not always difficult but I understand that it is for many. Thank you!

I'm sorry this is so off topic but I just found your site and I heard you mention you did a video on want you can plant around a Black Walnut Tree. I haven't been able to find that. Could you please tell me the date of posting on that video?
You and these videos have been very inspirational for me to really apply myself more to my gardens. Thank you!

Creatively,
I'm so glad I watched this video, even though I don't like onions or need any seed starting tips- I have been looking for a better option for hanging my grow lights, & I love the magnet idea!
Edit- Well I don't know if that will work since that will leave too much space between the seedlings & the lights?

Laura, would it be possible to get an update on your seedlings? I recently started onion seeds for the first time ever and they are probably about 4 inches tall now, however, I am worried about trimming them back. I would also love to learn more about caring for them until planted out in the spring.

I know this is a year ago, but last year I just learned about, long day, intermediate and short day. I wondered why my onions never got big. I now start them from seed and I make sure that I order long day. I also plant bunching onions. I have had such good luck now that I'm onion smarter.

Love it! You've inspired me to grow from seed this year and so far I'm having success! Something I thought might be fun down the line is creating a flower arrangement based on flower meanings (ex. daisies are for innocent/hope, hibiscus are for delicate beauty, etc etc, just a thought
