I love watching these videos. I learn a lot from them, and I get to see a huge variety of plants. The garden is amazingly beautiful. The only thing that dismays me is the literally thousands of plastic pots, bags, and other single-use plastics being put into the environment. It would be nice if there were a better way. All that plastic overwhelms the positive impact of organic gardening.

Can you talk about the three birch trees you planted in one hole? I am about to plant seven dogwood trees on my tiny property. According to the plant tags, which recommend spacing for the trees' mature width, I don't have enough room. I know they can be planted close together, as they do in nature, but there is very little information about planting this way. How close is too close?

i wonder if you have plans for a pool - we have a property similar to yours in Puerto Rico and as you are driving to the house you have to drive thru what now looks like a jungle but i plan to put a rectangular pool in the distance as part of the garden and a cabana house. That would look stunning out in the property you have your cut flower garden in. Love your videos

Hi! Question not related with the salvias: the birch trees behind you that you mentioned arent multi trunk but you planted them to be so, doesnt that harm the trees? You mention often that we should give plants room for air circulation so I wonder if this would be ok with birches or generally ok with more slender trees. Also, great job! You guys are such an inspiration.

Hi! I love seeing the Westside garden develop in your vision, it all looks lovely. A little off topic, I was re-watching the final tour of the old house. You mentioned the BLACK SWAN BEECH, and how amazing it is and hard to find. I'm wondering why you haven't planted another in your garden. Have your tastes evolved or have you just not found the tree again?

Do you have any tips for keeping Salvia from flopping? I recently bought two salvia plants (not proven winners) and they were already flopping in their cans, and I thought planting them out would help but it hasn't. Should I prune them back? They already have blooms on them- will I forefit blooms later in the season if I prune them now?

Hi, you are such a inspirational and caring person, I love to watch your videos, and I learn something new every time, a day doesn't go when I don't watch your videos, watching your videos just turns my bad days into good. I've got a question, howcome you never grow mint, or made a video about it. Thank you

Laura is killing me with the black shirt all the time lately. Just looks hot. The moon garden looks so much better with color! Lol! I totally agree about the coral berry bush in that spot. I just ordered one from PW because of the one Ive seen in Lauras garden. Coral berry bushes should be everywhere!

Hey guys, i love the flowers and colours you chose! They are definitely in my preferred colours. You never mentioned the size of the boarder you are working in there. This is like every day garden talk but you do a great job at layering your boarders. Would you be able to share the size?
