When I was growing up my neighbour planted a large pollinator garden as well as parsley and dill so his son and I spent many summers watching the caterpillars eat the parsley and then become pupae and then we watched for them to hatch. We read many books to learn the names of all the butterflies and we also knew when the pupae would hatch. It was such a fabulous education and so very interesting. I will never forget that.

Hi Laura! That turned out so nice, and affordable for a lot of people. What a great idea for Benjamin to enjoy. I hope you take us with you to see Benjamin picking out the flowers he wants, and then watching you both plant them. What fun that would be! I think you should leave the fence just as it is. It blends in so well, and a black fence would stick out like a sore thumb. Thank you so much for sharing!

I see you have an adjustable miter saw stand. Wondering how you like that-husband wants it for movability and storage, I do not. I am short and I definitely want something that I can use easier than plopping our current miter saw on the ground or a non-movable bench, but I don't feel the adjustable stand you have is stable enough (ie shaky when you lean/push on it.

Laura you are amazing what you can do, you did a great job. I am going to make one for my grandgirls. I have everything figured out except how many inches down from the point of the pickett did you put the support board? (Horizontal) Benjamin is going to love that little garden, mainly the strawberries.

Come on man! Wheres the video on that pallet walkway? ;> Also don't underestimate the look of well laid brick and by well laid I mean the pattern used. A nice basket weave looks awesome and gives and aged feel about it. Keep up the great videos. so inspirational.

You come up with the best money saving ideas that make sense and seem very achievable. I can see bucket like containers mounted to either side of the entrance with Benjamin's strawberries. Great lure into the garden. Can't wait to see what flowers you plant.

Super adorable! I was taking notes, so Im sorry I missed the assembly, but I get the gist. I saw your beautiful weeping willow in the background. Will it line up with the Hartley? Nonetheless it looks like itll be a nice focal point on the distance.
