I think you may have mentioned it before, but what leaf blower do you use? I don't much need one for my yard, but my parents are paying $70 an hour, each person, for a crew to blow their oak leaves next to the road where they pick them up later. I can blow them, along with my husband and have other family members help bag them and save my folks a ton of money.

Thank you Laura! I have kale and heuchera in my window boxes, Zone 6a, snow hills of central Massachusetts. They still look amazing! I am curious if they will survive the winter? My window boxes are coconut coir. Can I leave them there? Or maybe put in my concrete containers that can survive my harsh winter here?

I was mesmerized by this video. I loved the peace and quiet, along with the sounds of nature as you watered.
This video was totally helpful as wellIm in Southern California, and even though we have a super mild winter, our watering needs change and I have struggled with keeping my plants alive. Thank You!

See around here is quite the opposite, more so we have to worry about plants rotting over winter or essentially drowning if there not planted correctly(an inch or so high) for things in the ground. Containers are the last thing on my mind as well bc they stay plenty saturated or frozen throughout the winter.

Ah, nice to see a slower video sometimes. Not boring, if you guys are wondering! You probably want to continue to change up the pace and other aspects of filming/editing the way you have been, just wanted to say that this slower editing pace is really nice too. Thanks so much all of you. Much love.

Oh it hurts to see you trashing those cabbages/kale - we had a really hard time finding the pretty ones this season and for zone 8 they will last all winter and usually end up bolting sometime in Spring - which is when I will finally begudgingly trash them. I love their winter look!

I was dragging all my pots into my garage because I was afraid I would freeze and crack my pots. Are these pots cement, or resin? And are perennials ok if they freeze in pots vs the ground? Thanks I LOVE watching you, I am in PNW east of the Snoqualmie pass at 3000 elevation.

Love your videos! I live in zone 5 and have found that if there is water in my plant pots when the temps go below freezing, the plants die. Is it because it depends on the quantity of water? In other words, damp soil is ok but more most than that causes ice to kill the roots?
