This is so perfect as were having our steep hillside renovated due to erosion. I was needing a 5- point harness on just to plant and occasionally weed. This will be our 3rd summer living the dream on the lake. The first year I planted a smiley face using annual flowers into the hillside for the boaters and kayakers to see and last year it was all zinnias. Approx 60 x 60 showstopper. I have no idea what the plan going forward is for our 100 ft of hillside. Their will be gigantic boulders for sure to make up some levels. Well definitely have some before, during and after pictures

I just found you doing your mom's yard and now Im here. Im hooked! We do not own but our Rentman doesnt care as long as we make it look good. We are the first house in our neighborhood so I would love to be the one who has a beautiful yard. I tried to go through our neighborhood but no one has done anything with their yards(we all have the same layout so thought Id get some insight what to do with ours) I saw some similar houses in this video and Ill take that and run lol. I wonder if we are allowed to send you a picture for your insight?

Wow! This was so awesome transformation of these landscape photos of before and after. Givening me some ideas for my property. I'm wanting to change things up. Haven't been able to do, but I have met a wonderful man and we have a lot of interest, including flowers and gardens. He has already started with my arch. I can't wait till he finish with it. Thank you for showing these photos.

It's so sad when people upgrade their gardens to be openly hostile/excluding to wildlife. Pristine, geometric, sanitized swaths of land full of non-native flowers and monoculture lawns. It is very sad to see. The world needs native plants, re-wilded spaces, and design that takes into account the natural world and its inhabitants around us.

Hi Laura, I was so happy to catch this video. All the hard work and creativity the gardeners have put into their yards was amazing! I felt so relaxed and delighted after this ended and am hoping you will do it again soon. Clearly you have touched many folks around the world isn't it thrilling? Go Laura!

HOw does one remove a large overgrown lilac bush? I have one that's become a second story bush because it was planted kinda in the shade. Its got runners that have come 4+ft out looking for sunshine. I want to get rid of the whole thing and made a shade garden.
