3 Shrub Pruning Projects: Euonymus, Butterfly Bush & Hydrangea Standard! Garden Answer Linda: Perfect timing for your video! I'm in a fairly new old home, and I'm still learning what's in our gardens. I found out that we have a different variety of euonymus that is climbing up many of trees and low bushes. I had a landscape consultant come by yesterday, to help me identify some items I could not figure out, and she told me our euonymus should go due to it choking the other plants and she told me to burn it since it's invasive like bittersweet. I wish ours looked like yours. Is your euonymus invasive too and you just keep up with it?

From time to time I catch up on things you are doing and wondered why there was only one cat now until you said he doesnt come in the house at all. Then, today I saw you clearing under a bush, along with a small circle of leaves that looked like an animals bed. Where does (cheddar I think was his name) sleep now? Is he not welcome in your beautiful garden? I think you are acting in a very unkind manner and maybe you should find him another home where he will be welcomed! MJ. UK

Oh man! Euonymus grows SOOO FAST! At least in my area they do. I ended up pulling them all out. I am still stuck with some overgrown, burly looking grown cover evergreens, but those are SOOO deeply rooted, that I just hard trim them back every few years. Tomorrow is the day for their hard trim. I laughed while you were under the euonymus. True gardener right there! Thanks for great videos.

Can't wait for my double daffodils to bloom. Just have the tiny daffodils and huge yellow daffodils and my double color daffodils in white and yellow blooming now. I attacked the hydrangeas in backyard they got over 5ft last year and the vines honeysuckle and trumpet I hope the vines be ok. Due to Chicago weather cant touch any of my roses yet due to late frost until may 15.

I wish I could plant more bulbs of tulips and daffodils except we have the nasty rabbits that like to eat my plants. I dont want to plant if I have to place cages around our plants. I would love any suggestions anyone might have to prevent rabbits from eating my plants. It's so frustrating!

Hey Laura do you have a pruning video of rosemary? Mine has become a tree! I don't want to overdo it and kill it. Plus we have a family of bunnies with babies living under it right now. They all venture out in late afternoon so I think I could do some pruning then.

When we expect a big wind I go out and pick my freshly blooming tulips and daffs to enjoy them inside before theyre tattered.

I have three viburnum that every spring they bloom and leaves look good and then right after that the leaves all become twisted and distorted. This has been happening every year. Help. What is the problem and what can I do to stop this from happening.

There was a cat under there, too! I know it wasn't Russell or Cheddar. Who was it?
That bucket fertilizer seems like a happy accident. It seems way easier to dispense. You could even add a 5 gallon bucket pour spout.
