Flower Bed Maintenance: Perennial Cut Back, Rose Deadheading, Fixing Drip! Garden Answer Dash: Shoutout to Arron for encouraging Laura to use fewer plants in some areas. As a novice gardener those experiments are more conducive to my current budget. At first I always assumed that your pots looked so great because there were six+ plants per pot and Id never get mine to look like that because I simply didnt have the budget. Last year the one plant per pot experiment sold me. Flash forward to this spring I ran down to my local garden center and purchased 3 PW bubble gums and 3 giant pinks and WOWZERS! Boy am I impressed. Thanks for all you do and the encouragement to shop locally, for working with companies whose products are amazing and for showing me that I can have a beautiful landscape with just six tiny plants.

Laura or Aaron, can you do a video on how your drip system works from your app or master center. Do you break up by zones or individual pots? If you have an area getting too much drip do you have to shut down all the areas and pots in that particular zone? We have a much smaller lot. I would like to start converting over to drip. My husband thinks it would be challenging and not worth the effort? Your videos are very helpful and I quote you often to family and friends. Thank you for all the helpful knowledge.

So I planted a pink rose bush when we moved into our beautiful new home. The whole family Loved it. I really don't know the kind but it bloomed continually and got almost 5' tall and wide. So I moved it about a month ago. Just like Laura always does. No biggie. Threw some biotone in there and watered it in good, Loved on it real in the following days but that sucker has lost All its leaves and is just sitting there! 0 new growth! is there anything I can do? Idk what I did wrong lol

That one clip of your husband and your kids playing in the wide open space of grass is so why you should rethink filling that area with trees. It being wide open for kites, and soccer, baseball, football games anything really is exciting trees can always be added on down the road when kids are older and maybe won't want to be outside as much to play

I very much enjoy when you intermix this kind of video with all of the other content. Many viewers are not at the point of adding all the new items but are trying to maintain a beautiful garden with what already exists and making small changes so it's nice to include encouragement and instruction for all of us as well as all the new development.

For the randomly long arm on the Japanese maple, you could air layer it. That way when you decide to cut it eventually, you have a little tree ready to go rather than just removing an otherwise very healthy looking bit of growth. That is of course assuming it's not patented. I don't think it is because I see people grow blood good from seed often

I saw the MOST amazing flower in one of my gardening groups today.
Peruvian Daffodil
Check it out. It's just unlike any other daffodil I've seen. The woman who posted pics of the ones in her garden said she actually bought the bulbs at one of the Dollar Tree stores, believe it or not.

Would LOVE to see a before & after video at the end of the season, showing some original planting footage with full growth or full bloom footage, like a full season showcase! I cannot wait for all your beautiful flowers to grow up and realize your vision. Thanks for sharing your world with me
