Digging Dahlias & Satisfying Annual Cleanup! Hi Laura. Dahlia's are so beautiful, I think they are worth the work. Would you like a bright yellow fisherman's hat, jacket and boots for Christmas next time you need to jet spray them? I laughed so much. You are 'all in' when it comes to your garden Laura. I wish I could come along and help you. xxxx

I have never rinsed off a dahlia in my life! I grow them in pots and just cut them back and store the pots in my temperature controlled garage I don't let go below 40 degrees. I have a rolling shelf I store all my tropicals on. Do cannas and tuberous begonias the same way. Even keep asparagus ferns with a grow light in there and they live just fine. Try truffula pink gomphrena this year because I have such a hard time finding it! I have a moss basket of tuberous begonias and a mystic spires blue salvia I've been storing the same way. Everything comes out in spring and gets divided and re-potted or just simply set back outside it their not too root bound.

Wow what a great video. What a crop of tutors you have! Does your vest go in the washer and dryer? Amazed at how the mass planting of annuals rolled up, but so sad to see the begonias gone (both white and pink. What strength blower was Paul using? My first year using mulch and I realize I need a blower to get leaves off if I don t want to rake up all my mulch. Great video and turkey looks delicious!

Wouldn t you want to leave the roots of the plants in the ground for worms to feed off and in ground composting over the winter like we do for vegetables? Jus curious. Love your videos. First order of business every morning. Even check on Saturday just in case you post an extra video. Thank you

Wow deep fried turkey is the best! Aaron needs to use peanut oil which will help him maintain the temperature.
I am glad you showed us what to look out for in a Dahlia, when storing them, as this is my first season growing them. Thanks always for an informative video.

We dig dahlias every year, we usually wait a little while after the first hard frost. Dahlias are so much easier to dig than cannas, since they are planted more shallow and have less roots. That table was awesome for rinsing!

Good Morning! I am in the middle of my Fall clean up! A great refresher on Dahlia digging & storage! New cooking tools are fun! Last year we got a griddle & it has been fun! We also have a smoker & our charcoal grill!

Satisfying day s work! Looks so good. Amazed at how some of the annual drifts roll up like a carpet. well done Paul, Bethany, Laura. and so much fun Aaron! Can t wait to hear about the fried.

The best turkey fryers are the oil less ones! It's basically a big air fryer, but so much easier to control the temperature, not as messy or as dangerous as the oil fryers.

I have given up on finding help like Paul and Bethany you always speak well of them and I can see why it s difficult to find people that have that much care

If you can move the trellises and move the dahlia you really should consider it because of the trips. Might help in addition to

Paul is like the elusive Wilson from Home Improvements. You never get a full view of him completely, but he leaves a big impact! I want a Paul!
