Can you help me with two questions?
First, when you remove some of the flowers, do you leave the sepals? It appears so, except for floral wiring. Do you see different vase life if you remove or keep the sepal?
Second, this year I-ve limited thrips damage outside, but they-re present. I avoid bringing glads inside from concern for house plants. Do you find that displaying flowers under water controls that risk by quick drowning? They don-t just towel off and march toward the Amaryllis? :0) You inspired me to keep mine after Christmas - he-s wonderful.

This is a most helpful, creative & informative video on Gladiolas use, Danielle! Each way you utilize them brings out their full drama. The individual flowers themselves have a completely different affect than the full spike & makes their true beauty shine! I'd only seen their use in funeral arrangements so they carry a specific meaning for me, but your creative cutting & use have completely turned that on its head! Thank you for introducing me to this (new) flower.

I've shared your earlier videos with new flower farmers that may comment about how to use them. After the video you shared with the new glads you planted in your grandma's garden, I bought several myself. Strange thing, most of them bloomed facing the fence, lucky for me, thanks to you, I cut them and enjoyed them in a vase. Not under water, how cool is that -

Really excellent demonstration! The cream perfection just went on my list to consider for next year based on the Longfield Gardens website, so seeing it in your setting was really helpful. It-s from your videos that I first learned about modifying gladiolus to remove some of the top flowers, and now I-ve learned more methods. Thank you!

Danielle, Thank you so much for this video. Your instruction is gentle and clear and your creations are beautiful. Like Gabrielle, I failed to plant my bulbs this year, but last year I had weeks of flowers and they were striking and beautiful. What a great way to start my day! Very much appreciated. You are very talented.

Thanks for another fab gladiola vlog! I learn so much from you. My gladiola are already all over. Its to hot and dry in Belgium for the moment. My husband is getting more and more in my flower growing as he sees how much pleasure it gives me. So next year we will plant even more bulbs in the garden!

I love your designs! I-ve never liked glads in arrangements, because I-ve only seen them in big funeral stands. Taking off the tops makes them a whole new flower! Thanks!

An idea for you - take a rosebud, wire it & pull it down in to the center of the gladioli. Your arrangements are exquisite Danielle!

What happened to the video posted this morning about hydrangeas? I didn-t get a chance to watch it and can-t find it now?

Can you do a video discussing conditioning? I-ve never understood this step, why not just make the arrangement?
