This is a bucket list. I just got the Swift 13. 6, met Joe at Canoecopia, talked about the dreams of doing this someday; I only got sections of the Colorado river at home in Las Vegas, I also have Lake Mead but for the most part it is always windy and does not offers the same type of trip-camp-portaging relationship that Algonquin Park does. The problem is, in my mind, since i already bought the Swift canoe, it is hard to just get used to the idea of Flying from Las Vegas to Toronto, then driving and renting a canoe to cruise the Park; I want to do it with my own boat but the cost of driving from home there and the time is crazy and almost impossible; I drove from Las Vegas to Madison Wisconsin to get the canoe in person rather than have it shipped and the trip expenses were a whole week and close to 1000!

As a nature lover since as far back as I can go, I absolutely love these exquisite videos, Shawn. The scenery in these videos brought tears of sheer pleasure. Awesome, and the accompanying music are perfect. Thank you so much for taking me along on your journey. Thoroughly enjoyed everyone so far.

Thanks for sharing, love all your canoeing videos. You are sure right about the beautiful scenery. Noticed that you were standing in the water a couple of times while fishing and getting in and out of your canoe. Would you care to share what you wear on your feet?

Which ones of the Swift pack boats is this? I just sold my tandem Scott 16 prospector and want to get a solo canoe. I really like the Swift pack boats but I dont know how they handle whitecaps and cross winds. Can you tell me what you think of it in this regard?

Great video, Shawn. I'm hoping to make the day 1 portion of your trip this August so it was nice seeing what to expect. Any comments on the campsites at Timberwolf and Grassy Bay? Is Grassy Bay too marshy for swimming?

Beautiful. peaceful & very relaxing.
I do wish each of the 6 videos had a link to the next one. Since they all seem to have different names it's really hard to find & watch them in order.

I am enjoying your trip. I will be taking a solo BWCA trip this year but will double portage. You pick up your canoe like it's a toothpick! I wish I could do the same.

How did you find all that smooth water. Totally beautiful. Certainly a wonderful, demanding, but rewarding adventure. Brian nearing 76
