I go over my fishing technique of choice for this trip which fits into the fish/chill mantra. To do this, you inflate the worm so it floats then drop it into the deep water and let it do the rest of the work while you chill. This is a great way to catch fish while expending minimal energy (as in a survival situation - if you had a way to inflate a worm or keep it buoyant

Easier and safer way, (-my way-, is mini plastic coffee stirrers. No needles! Usually single/double tube stirrers. Easy to store and use. Cut into 1 inch (or longer) sections, and super glue clamp shut ends. Self-enclosed plastic tube float, that can be entered into the worm. Can use as an additional plastic float, wet/dry fly floater, or a bite indicator. Can also use wooden coffee stirrer cut down into a wooden needle and put into worm, as additional floater, or bite indicator.

Yes, we have to get the line into the water -- Interesting technique with the worms - we have never put air into them, maybe we should try. Have seen your trailer, and some of your videoes, and want to follow you. Tove is out on an island and try catch some trouts just now. Greetings from Tove and Kaja

i just use a really small floater thats enough to float the worm but not the weight (a fly fishing indicator also works great) and attach it 2-5 inches from the worm to keep it from the ground.
