Fall nights are long, even longer if you hit the sack right at dark. In order to make camping more tolerable, I dig in and prepare a bunch of fire wood to stave off the cold and tuck in for a relaxing solo evening. Dinner is also on. fish from the day before!
John: Glad to see you using a saw (any saw) for wood gathering, instead of axe/hatchet/machete. You should try my bamboo (or pine) dowel breakdown buck saw. Breakdown 2x2x26 inches (medium). 2x2x 12 inches small. 3 dowels, 3-4 blades (hack saw with sharpened razor blade spine, green wood, dry wood, . and hunting bone saw, tension string, 2 copper tubings, and 2 wood shims and toggle.
