I use corn kernels, sometimes. Light line and tackle, small hook and small split shot. Cover(hide) all of the hook, with one kernel corn. Always know what your shadow is doing, (how fast it-s moving, and where it's at. Can of cheap corn, will last you guys all day. Find a bend in the creek, where it's deeper. Put your corn up stream a ways. Then let it drift through the bend. Heat rest of corn up. eat with your mess of brook trout. Lemon pepper for the spice. Love all your videos. Thanks a bunch

Never been the outdoors type but after watching a number of your vids (this is probably like my 100th by now) it made me appreciate the little things we take for granted. Anyways I-m not gonna make this post about me but rather about the hard work you put in day in and day out to provide grade A content. As a viewer the least I can do is drop a LIKE -. Hopefully this will start a trend and inspire more people to show their appreciation. With that cheers

Loving all your vids man, I'd like to see fishing with super primitive methods, netting made with rope from nettle cordage, and hooks made from brambles or something, i'm not sure if bramble hooks are a thing but how did the natives fish? I think that would make a good video.

Grew up with a stream like this in my back yard I'll tell ya what my family and I never went hungry. I could catch my limit of 10-12 inch Square tails (brookies) in 15-20 minutes. I'd bet nobody has fished that stream in 20 odd years as kids these days are worried bout virtual fishing rather than contributing a meal to the family.

This would make me love like a special Stone age vibe kinda video where you gotta use nature to make a rod and hook and find bait to catch a fish, no modern day amenities and create a fire to cook it

For me, the biggest difference between eating that Trout and the Chub is that Trout eats -things-. the Chub eats -anything-. Ask Jeremy why he had to go 2 rounds with that little Trout. :0)

bundle the worm up on the hook so you dont lose so many fish. Run the hook through the worm like a sock and leave like an 4th of an inch tail. Real good eatin'. lol

Reminds me of the brookie fishing I do with my grandpa, some canoeing, or bushwhacking with only a can of worms, our rods and a creel. Up in the UP of Michigan.
