Kneading the bear fat and acorn flour together would probably form a crust much like butter and flour does. Maybe you could add the crust on top about half way through the cooking process so it doesn't burn. Idk. Awesome videos, I'm learning a lot from you and it's appreciated!

What's the time difference in cooking over camp fire and cooking on the firebox? Less, more or about the same. Cause on one firebox, you can cook one pot. But in the previous episode you were cooking multiple things on one fire.

Great video, thx. BTW the inner bark of black walnut trees is good for intestinal parasites when taken in conjunction with a small fast. And the green outer husks can be used topically for ring worm though it will stain your skin.

That cobbler/crisp and black walnuts is my kind of lunch; 0) BTW - I haven't had black walnuts since I was a little kid. We would make tea cookies out of them. Such a unique flavor. Thanks for the memory! Excellent job guys!

I just heard there are parts of the country where you are not allowed to take standing dead wood for a fire: 0 The stove would be a bonus is such lands. If we are guessing on this video I'm going with -2. 9 pounds.

very cool stove. I have been debating a twig stove for camping and stuff. Right now i keep a penny stove and alcohol. figured it was pretty easy to find sticks in the bush and carrying fuel sucks.

The firebox stove is little more that a gimmick, and I'm supprised you would even suggest this as a viable food preparation, , it's a joke, , and you should know better.
