We took the tideline out of the water, put the boat on the trailer, and headed north to go fishing with my good buddies Capt. Scott Lum and Capt. Carl Torresson. Our goal was to catch giant tripletail. Conditions were not ideal, but that didn't stop us. Carl caught the biggest redfish (red drum) of his life and also his personal best tripletail. Carl also caught several black drum as bycatch. By the end of the day, the three of us had caught our limit of tripletail.
