Sight Fishing Mutton Snappers in less than 3ft of Water - 4K

I flew to Old Bahama Bay Resort in the Bahamas and went sight fishing for giant mutton snappers on the flats with my good buddy Tom Folley. We were fishing inshore on the flats in less than three (3ft) of water. These fish bite very well on the outgoing tide. I am not used to seeing mutton snappers in less than three (3ft) of water. In Florida, mutton snappers are usually in 60+ft of water and are considered an offshore species of fish, rather than an inshore species.

i have to confess that when you mentioned mutton snapper in earlier videos, i didnt know what you were fishing for because you phonetically say muddin' snapper. so my interior jackass went looking for a similar species to mutton snapper, but with d's. to no avail, i looked again and again, examining the fish. saying mutton snapper to myself. then it dawned on me so i gotta ask, do you also say mutt skipper? rofl. you sent me on some never seen a muddin' snapper before goose chase adventure. lol.

Sitting here in 24 degree highs and 12 degree lows, I'm in the hater club. LOL My fishing trip today involved a LOT more clothing. I don't know if you read these posts, but does your cameraman also fly your drone and do they operate that from the same boat or a chase boat. As someone who has to film all my footage solo, it leaves me a bit envious of having a cameraman and a couple of wireless mics. Another well produced video, and I look forward to the notifications in 2018

This was such a great video. Those fish were so pretty You mentioned that the muttons were sport fish. Are you allowed to keep them, or are they illegal to keep? Tommy sure does seem like he would be a great person to spend a day with. I bet he has many, many interesting stories to tell. I really enjoyed this video - thanks Josh Heather

Those bonefish obviously have a very dense body, because that fish didn't look like 7 lbs to me. It looked more like 5. 5. But I don't doubt you. As strong as they are for their size, they really must have a very dense, muscle-packed body that weighs more than it looks.

Josh; Great video. Can't wait to charter a trip with Tom Folley. Can you send a link to the bait you used? What was your line and leader material/weights as well?

At 15: 00, looks like you had a big lemon shark chasing your bonefish. I assume you were able to play keep-away, or I know you would have said something about it
