Guy with the boat should count his blessings that was braided line and not a person. That was extremely careless and dangerous. I see jetskiers do that all the time but rarely a guy in a speedboat like that. He would never have seen someone swimming no chance and he was in water people are constantly in. He's probably going to be angry at fisherman for costing him at the least a new lower unit he won't even realize he could be spending decades in prison. Please be smarter than this guy who thought he was so cool showing off his boat that he so easily could've killed or badly injured someone.

Great video as usual. I can relate to the idiot who ruined your day fishing, only it was a jet ski jumping our wake while trolling for muskellunge in Kentucky on Cave Run Lake. He got a little more than he bargained for from the tailwash pole which sat higher than the others; clotheslined himself with my 50-lb muskie braid and wound up with a Jointed-Depthraider embedded under his arm. Sure was a bad day for the jetskier. I'm sure he spent a few hours in the ER having those 6-0 trebles removed from his armpit, plus I lost 40 of line and a 25 muskie lure.

Great editing B! Always a pleasure fishing with you Darcie. We will get on them next time! Anyone reading this let it be known that Darcie is the REEl deal, she has an unbridled passion to learn and is the first one to pick up a rod and last one to set it down. A lot of people have no idea how much work it is to put these videos together for you, but spending an entire day with the duo, I can tell you these two are HARD working individuals.

To be honest I'm not really a fan of either group. The close to shore boaters are assholes. And the people who fish off the beach are assholes. Both are endangering swimmers in different ways. Both of you should take your activities elsewhere. Nobody needs to be speeding along the shore with people in the water and nobody needs to be attracting sharks with people in the water.

I knew someone that was killed by a boat like that, the owner was charged with negligent homicide, the sad thing is they do this to ruin your fishing, the owner was sentenced to ten to twenty five years, to serve mandatory fifteen years before he can be considered for parole, the family of the victim sued him until his nose bled.

Takes me back to my childhood in New Smyrna Beach Florida. Us kids would swim out the shark fishermen's bait on inflatable rafts. We would get 10 cents per bait. Which was exactly the price of a soft drink back then. Ice cold in glass bottles. We thought we were making big money. :)

Man, they will give anyone a license to drive a boat. You should never run shorelines because that's where the Fish live. I see some big Sharks in the first gut down in Port O'Connor, they like to eat our Trout.

I hope and pray karma caught up with that a-hole boater to the tune of a whole lot of after what he did. I also hope the Coast Guard somehow caught up with him. Dangerous is mild to describe that.

I really like your videos and commentary, but you need to tone down the skin, wearing more appropriate/more garb for youtube vids. What you wear, or should I say don't wear, makes you look cheap.
