That was a young green watersnake. Great for quarantine. Pick one up, get musked and nobody will come near you for the rest of the day. They are nippy too but their bite is harmless. Ob that topic, why are people so freaked out over getting bitten by a harmless snake? Even many seasoned snake keepers flinch and jerk away from small harmless snake strikes? Yet most people will scratch a kitten's belly and let it kick and bite. Try both, the kitten hurts a lot more and is the only of the two that can send you to the ER from it's bite and scratches.

I catch a lot of large mouth bass here in Texas. I throw big ones & small ones back and, for pond management, keep a slot size that are good to eat. Many people turn their noses up at large mouth bass as a food fish, but I think they are quite good.

Puddin you might want to mention next time you're cooking with garlic that when it is in larger chunks the garlic is sweeter the smaller you cut it the more pungent it is. Have a great week and be safe,

Yeah, I don't care where that canal is. If you eat those Peacock you will have a years fun of mercury in one fillet! Fun to catch and they used to be clean white meat fish. 40 years ago!
