If we're talking about drive to spots you guys gotta go to grand Rapids Manitoba.
The trout lake there is my personal favorite with Brooks, bows, browns, and tigers all stocked in the same lake with lots of fish over 20- and a few over 25-
The lake right in front of the cabin is one of manitobas hottest big pike fisheries (and that says something) its common to catch 40- pike right outside your cabin on the dock.
The river less than 10 miles away is a walleye fisherie like you've never seen. Where success is soly determined by the amount of time you spend on the water. If you spend a full day walleye fishing you can expect to put over 300 fish in the boat, and catch them however you want, I've even hooked a few on topwater.
