Bass Flippin' on Shallow Wood

When you are fishing in the winter, you don't normally think that bass will be in a few feet of water. On this bright sunny afternoon however, there were some bass that moved to the back of a creek around shallow grass and wood to sun themselves and warm up. I lost some good fish flipping a jig around some shallow wood, but was shocked how shallow the fish actually were!

Awesome winter flippin' LFG! What brand and lb test fluorocarbon leader do you use? I live here in New Mexico and we also do a lot of shallow flippin' on heavy wood.

Never tried fishing shallow during the winter. Here in Georgia, it seems impossible to find a fish in any less than 40 ft of water. Nice video!

Hi! What kind of bait, hook, weight did you use? And why did you call the video Flipping if you actually been doing pitching casts?

+LakeForkGuy I would love to hear what you were using for a reel, line, lure, and if you can, be specific on the rod. Please get back to me.

my name is hunter and I watched this video and it was odd because I was bass fishing with a jig the other day and missed a lot of fish

man I hate those days that no matter what you do you keep missing them and the more it happens the more frustrated you get.
