As a woodworker and one of your followers, I've seen a lot of people starting out that make the same mistake. Luckily I was given the measure twice and cut once a looong time ago and also with tongue and grove you have to figure the space of your groves as you found out. Good thing is you won't forget this lesson. Keep up the great work and get Lance to teach you some stuff in that awesome shop. In closing, DAMN I wish I had that wood!

Great project bud! Did you give thought to glue? Our Texas climate causes serious expansion/contraction in wood. Gluing as you go with a quality wood glue helps a ton in the future! Hell, the store bought stool I'm sitting on now needs screws tightened regularly. I may partially disassemble the thing & add some glue to it.

I know you get a lot of could of should of's But you could of taken off 1/4 from each board and found you one old 1X4 walnut board and cut it to fit in the center of the rest that would gave it kick butt look. but I know it's done by now and I'm sure it looks great I can't wait to see it.

Reminds me and also looks like The Samurai Carpenter and u did as good if not maybe a little better so if u do such a beautiful job on the work bench i can only imagine how good ur work must be need to see more of ur wood worker guy on here doing stuff for you

That is going to be an awesome table when your finished. Look up Ron Paulk on youtube and get the plans for his Ultimate work bench. Probably one of the best that you'll find and its pretty easy to build.

You are doing good LFG. One very important thing keep that dust away from OSG especially if theres gonna be babies. Try to make sure your not leaving piles of lead dust around the house inside or out.

Unrelated to the video but i did the Frank's buffalo sauce with fish fillets before breading and frying. It was delicious. Much appreciated and enjoy the videos.

Demo Ranch has the same set up for his projects. Works great! In woodworking most mistakes are more along the lines of a redesign, not a mistake

Somethin' here just ain't right. You could at least do all this on a party barge or a pier or something, just for continuity.
