Hunting Trophy Bucks from the Ground! Bow Hunt for Big Pond Deer

Bow hunting on the ground using rattles, grunts and DIY hunting blinds to try and harvest a big trophy buck on our deer lease. Most of the blinds are set up for rifle so me and The Mullet Man are on the move building and setting up areas to hunt from tree stands and ground blinds

Dont use that burlap stuff unless you're gonna double it over and have limited cover. Just tucking up in that tree would have been far more effective. Also, learn to play the wind. Those scent sprays only really help by knocking down the ground scent left from touching or brushing things on the way to where you're at. If they wind you, no scent product in the world will help you

Burlap is one of the best ground blinds ever lol. But a tree is a way to go if possible. Also, shooters for sure. But then again, I hunt on 30 acres in New York, with no point restrictions. neighbors are hungry, and if I passed a deer pike that, it would be once in a lifetime opportunity. Awesome video. As per usual

So at my house I live in a neighborhood and we have this huge buck I bowhutned for 4 years seen it this afternoon and some neighbors dog came up and scared I literally had my finger on the realease and at full draw

I would have gone for the same deer. Ditch the bow and pull out the old boomstick. It's just as close to the deer with a shotgun and a slug as it is with a bow and arrow. And somehow more intense.

If management is goal I ll killed the older buck. A younger deer like that means one of your does is holding that gene so I d let him breed.
