This is crazy! So my wife and I were talking about Liver King this afternoon while I was on lunch at work(she's on nights this month while I'm on daylight) Anyway, she was saying about the crazy stuff he ate. I told her I remember in high school, during my agriculture science class, we had a competition for grade on who could take the worst parts on an animal(minus genitals, and prepare them to taste the best. We had pig tongue, cow liver, pig heart, deer heart, cow intestines, and some other part of the cow I don't remember. Anyway my group got lucky with the deer heart(because I killed the buck we used. We ended up making organ and onions, because I figured a heart was like a liver, and all my buddies in my group liked liver, so we did it up. It was actually very good, and we all got A's. My teacher actually thought it was liver lol

Cast Iron skillet, in butter, thin sliced onions, add liver after onions are nearly clear. SPG seasoning and lightly floured. Your favorite Spicy mustard on your plate. Gravy made with deglazing with beer. Mashed potatoes as a side.

I've seen way too many flukes when gutting to be eating raw deer liver. Any of the special properties you may believe liver may have will still be there after it's cooked minus the living parasites.

Start by slicing it. Quick cook in a pan, grill or a stick, whatever primal way you want. Then feed it to the dogs! Liver is a filter for the blood and is disgusting!

Got to fry the liver with onions. Slice the liver about 1/2 slices. I hate onions, but it makes the liver taste good. Give it a try.

Dude, you're from Texas. you should try venison parisa. I tried it last year with a young doe. Freaking AMAZING! Another good video!
