I'm new to fishing. I've caught a lot at my local lake in nj not one largemouth except a tiny tiny baby like maybe 3 inches. my swim baits catch nothing but pickerel for some reason. I caught one trout with a spinner and i was told that trout don't survive in this lake. I get a lot of crappie on flies which is absolutely the only top water I've caught. also I've never caugh anything off my boat only fishing off the docks

You NEED to come to New Brunswick, Canada and fish the Miramichi river in the spring for strippers. We have the absolute healthiest stripper fishery in the world. 80-150 fish a day easily. they boil everywhere. Look it up sometime!

Theres one Lake i would like to see you fish. It has a special place in my heart. That is Lake Lavon, spent a couple days on it this weekend and had two fish. Would love to know what you think of that lake.

so here in virginia where I live I actually had a good day using the googan baits krackin craw 2 days ago. been raining alot and fish have been up shallow have not been able to catch anything in deeper water.

Don't throw soft plastic lures into a lake or any body of water. All you're doing is killing the lake. If a fish eats it will just get stuck in their gullet
