It looks so easy and most people don't know that how hard is to fish an 800g of weight in that dept, especially with a manual reel. It's an extreme workout. After 15 min. you wish you would never get into this. lol And the day is still ahead of you. I do this occasionally with 4-500g in 3-500 feet of water and there is a reason why I only do it occasionally. lol
Great catch guys! I need to visit the store soon to check out his new stuff.

I really enjoy watching your videos. I’ve been watching you for sometime now and I really am learning a lot. Did a lot of freshwater fishing in my life, but very little saltwater well less than a year and a half I plan to move from Illinois to Florida and I can’t wait to start using some of that knowledge that I have from watching your videos. Keep up the good work Vic and Brooke you guys are the best.

I've heard that the black belly in the rosefish is for when they eat prey with bioluminescence. It keeps them from glowing in their gut and making the rosefish being more visible and becoming prey itself. There are actually quite a few deep water fish that have this black belly. Like Hake, Cusk, Acadian Redfish, etc. Makes sense.

Happy New Year to you all. Even though you have no idea who we are you make us all feel like we are part of your family. Fishing is fishing and cooked fish is amazing but throw in family and you are so far beyond anything anyone can show. We all look forward to your videos every week they come in!

My husband and I are planning to move from Ohio to Florida later this year. I personally am really looking forward to being able to go fishing. My dad taught my siblings and I as kids when camping and I always enjoyed it. Plus Florida has so so many beautiful fish. Really love these vidoes.

Literally waiting on a weather window to go out and get me a limit of these before the end of February. Funny you post this video today when I’ve been searching this stuff all day yesterday and today.

Wow, super cool tilefish. I’ve never seen or tasted one. Wikipedia said they’re sweet, mild and reminiscent of shrimp and lobster flavor. Sounds absolutely delicious. They can live up to 50 years!

20: 44 Nah, it’s just the married life blues bro lol. Kidding of course. I’ve never, ever, like never sensed that Victor was negative. Just the opposite actually, always positive and upbeat. Great vid!

I notice you guys go after a set species on lots of trips. Do you do this because it helps focus on an area, and take the correct bait instead of going fishing Thanks for all the great content!

Yo the rods you were using had the guides on top like a bait caster but also on the bottom like a spinning rod. How does that work I’ve never seen that. I’m guessing the line wraps around the pole

As much as you cook you need to get the cordless salt & pepper shakers. You can use one hand and flip your proteins without having to wash your hands twelve times.

Come on Mr. Clickbait. They don’t burry themselves in mud they build a large distinct hole to ambush prey and protect themselves from larger predators.

As someone who doesn’t like fish I always look forward to eating fish (although I don’t) after your videos. Great job on it all and looking forward to 2025

I have to try doing cauliflower that way because it looked so good thanks for the idea! I am so jealous of the varieties of fish you have access to.

Brian’s comments at the end of the video are outstanding. Family memories like that are summed up best by his last comment. Priceless! Great video!
