I was on a charter trip one time out of Key West and had a monster loggerhead eat a bait while bottom fishing. He wore me slap out trying to get him to the boat. Finally got him to the boat 30 to 40 minutes later and the captain was able to use a long handled dehooker to remove the hook.
Also, one time we were fishing off of Marathon and had rigged up some split tail mullet. Apparently they looked really good because we had a frigate bird dive down and try to eat it. Of course he got hooked. Oh what a handful he was trying to get the hook out of him in choppy 4 foot seas while avoiding his beak! He wanted to do everything he could to take a hunk out of us with that beak!

Rob and Sarah I'm going to try and reach y'all some how I live about 15 mins from yall and my 17 year old son free dives EVERYDAY! He LOVES YOU GUYS! He says he needs a wife JUST LIKE SARAH LOL

I really enjoyed this video! You guys need to come to Austin Texas! I will make sure you have a great couple of days! Hey Robert! I agree with most of the family here saying you did a great job. But I was wondering about what you had said about not being sure of any legal ramifications. Did you by any chance find out the answer to that? I know you must know some FWC folks that could tell you & NOT haul you away! ;)
