We're kayak fishing for rainbow trout and largemouth bass in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. The rainbow trout are biting, and we quickly catch enough for dinner before switching gears to target largemouth bass. After I witness a bass feeding on ducklings, and tie on a lure I've never used before, with insane results. Then, back at the RV, we're showing you how to cook up the ultimate rainbow trout recipe using bacon.

Good lord, Rob! After all of your Los Buzos videos, I didn't think I would ever like any place better. I may have been wrong! The Black Hills are stunningly beautiful, the lakes are pristine and it looked like you were fishing in a fully stocked aquarium. There were SOOO many fish! So, congrats on an amazing trip and a wonderful video! I have to go up there someday.

Wow South Dakota delivers big time! Drove to Mt Rushmore and saw the stunning scenery but did not have the time to explore the area. We might need a return trip! I am sure the bacon themed trout was delicious but my cardiologist might not be happy to hear about it.

Smaller fire tiger pattern crankbaits were my go to all summer fishing from my kayak. Caught tons of cutthroat and rainbow trout trolling them behind me. Got lucky and managed to hook a small kokanee salmon on one too.

You are in my family's area now, rapid city. My Dad cracked his tail bone fishing in the mountains. Should have had a kayak back in the 70's. Better watch for mountain Lions and critters.

I like how it hit your line as you were trolling. Love crankbaiting for bass here in Michigan. That looked like ideal conditions for fishing!

When your in water that clear. The gold spinners and colors are good along with dark. I always like to try white anywhere I go first.

I grew up about 300 miles west of the black hills. I never fished with a diver, or a duck. I will next summer. Thanks for the videos.
