Robert you should really look into some new casting gear. My recommendations:
Shimano Citica 6: 3: 1 and Shimano Exage glass 74 MH with 17lb fluorocarbon (deep crank/mid crank)
Diawa Fuego 8: 1: 1 and dobyns fury extra fast 76 H with 50lb braid (Heavy Cover Flipping/Frogging)
Shimano Casitas 7: 2: 1 and dobyns fury fast 73 H with 30lb braid (Jigs/Lighter Flipping Laydowns/spinnerbaits)
Penn fierce II 2500 and Ohero ultralight series 73 M with 10lb braid (Salt trout/ shakey head/ weightless senko)
Quantum PT 7: 0: 1 and lews TP1 fast 70 M with 20lb braid (Texas rigs/dock fishing)
Shimano Casitas 6: 3: 1 and One 3 Black 2 glass 70 MH with 12lb fluorocarbon (Jerkbaits/shallow crank baits) (could switch to a mono or braid reel for treble topwaters)
13 Fishing Inception 6: 6: 1 and One 3 fate black gen 2 green 70 MH with 17lb fluorocarbon (Chatterbaits/swim jigs/small swimbaits/flukes)
One 3 creed GT 2000 and phenix feather bass 69 M with 10lb braid (dropshot/wacky rig)

I live in Georgia and have watched before field trips. I do have a question? Which do you prefer ocean versus freshwater? Ocean you have all the different species, but harder conditions. Fresh water fewer species but in lakes calmer water. Just wondered your preference. Please let your fans know if you do a meet and greet while in Georgia.

We call it snot grass also. I hate that stuff.
Wondering if you consider or treat the calm, freshwater fishing spots as your down time/recovery days after what appears to be the more hi-speed, action-oriented days fishing Los Buzos?

If they put some grass carp in there, they will control the amount of algae. They sterilize them so they don't over breed. We have them in my lake at home and they get HUGE! Keep up the good work!
