The ANGLR app just dropped a HUGE new update packed with a ton of cool new features. This app is a functional fishing tool that's been helping me put more fish in the boat. Try the app out free: AND they're letting me give away a year's worth of premium maps for FREE (47. 99 value. Just

There are a few issues with this app:
- Unlike Fishbrain, it uses GPS for your ENTIRE trip and not just your catch. As you can imagine, this KILLS your battery. I dont fish for just 30 minutes. Im out there for around 4 hours. I dont need my phone dying on me.
- Since this is a new app, there are a few bugs. The biggest one that I see is that it wont shut off the recording of my trip no matter how many times I press the stop button. Im about to delete the app to make it stop.
- The intelligence packs are from experts only. I live in Maryland. The closest expert to me is in Missouri. So I have no use for this feature.
- I can share what Ive done, but I cant see what other people in my area have shared. Since this gives limited use of data, I really have no use for this app.
I first heard of Fishbrain 5 or 6 years ago and while I thought it was a great idea, no one was on it and it had bugs. I rediscovered the Fishbrain app a year ago and have been hooked ever since. Now, there are many people on there, lots of data, and no bugs.
If I hear of this Anglr app 5 years from now, Ill probably try it out again because it does sound like it could be an app as useful as Fishbrain.

Gonna get the app and give it a try. As an aside question: do you use that truck rack for your kayak when you drive the freeway as well? I currently load my kayaks in the bed of my truck, but that means that I lose my bed for storage. Was going to get some racks, but will need to be able to strap them up there without fear of them flying off at 70mph.

Have you used this App on the Ocean? I live in Japan and Kayak fish around the local area. But wandering how this works when used on the ocean. I ordered the Bulls eye and going to give it a go. But want to hear what you have to say about usage on the Ocean

Great video fellow Texan. I love you video content especially the ones in Los Buzos. I hope to book a trip out there. For now I enjoy fishing for reds off the coast and Largemouths out of Lake Amistad. Thank you for the content

Favorite fish to fish for is Snakehead for sure, but I've been having a blast fishing for panfish with a fly rod lately! Side note, I registered, but with my personal email address which won't match this comment, haha.

Why is there no mention of pricing? It's 30 for the little button doohickey. The maps are on a subscription basis 35 a year for either fresh or salt, 48 a year for both.
I'll pass.

Florida strain Largemouth Bass and Snook, the two iconic poster boy fish of the state. Haven't caught many cause I don't got the maps or a boat to fish the good spots but I make due
