Robert, I think I missed you by more than a few days in Cambutal. I got to shake hands with Adam & Kevin, super nice guys! I picked their brains before the trips for gear and tackle advice and they gave me great info. Went out a couple days with Adriano who put us on a nice selection of species. Hopefully next time, I'll take a day with Los Buzos. No doubt. pound for pound. Jacks are NO JOKE! We caught decent sized tuna where I felt the fight from a Jack was superior. Anyways, thanks as always for sharing your vids. great coverage! Take care and be safe. let us know when you're coming back to the DC area to get on some more Snakeheads!

Hey Rob i am in Costa Rica at the moment at the Zancudo lodge Golfito. Had such a good day to day and caught 24 roosters all together between my dad and I. The 24th was a huge Trophy rooster that i caught it was around 50 pld and i would say about 42 inches long as we didn't get to measure it. You inspired me to come here and catch big rooster fish and if i hadn't watched your videos i would never of caught the monster rooster i caught today so thank you. This is my insta mikeyjjj1234 so u can see the fish i have been catching in costa rica!

Great job. This is what Im gong to be doing in the Boca Grande Pass just as soon as I finish rigging up my new yak and gear.
Im designing a new PFD for off shore fishermen specifically for yak fishing.
Being an off shore commercial diver; I know what it takes to survive an unexpected stay in open water and thats whats on my mind as Im designing and assembling this new PDF.

Lots of potential here, with lots of great shots, but the screaming and get some! got really old. Did no one ever teach that guy to keep his rod to the front? He went in without a PFD once and the next time still had the rod to the side and no PFD. Navy veteran or not, things could have gone very wrong. Glad everyone had fun and made it back in!

Hey man you should come up to the northwest and get on some fish out here. I bet youd have a blast especially with a 12 foot sturgeon! Some chinook salmon are a great fight and amazing eating we also have halibut and king lingcod! I would love to see you fight a oversize sturgeon! We are out in Oregon the most beautiful place on planet earth!
