Was going to be going out to GBI this weekend but stuck in lockdown, I try to get out there twice a year. Funny story about the penguins at times in the Hauraki gulf there's heaps of them anyway one trip we had a young British guy (on leave from Iraq) on the boat anyway he was amped to see a penguin which oddly took a while to find anyway when it did he took heaps of photos. for the next 3 days we saw one like every5 minutes and all us guys hassled him pointing out each one and talking him into more pictures and video etc drove him nuts after a while. Good trip though he caught heaps of snapper kingis trevs etc

Flipped my Hobie Rev 13 and seat sunk to bay floor! (I did retrieve, luckily. Any suggestions for floaties for it or otherwise securing it to the kayak itself with an acc. leash. I did buy the other gear through your links, thank you SO much!

Hey mate I live in New Zealand Auckland Im keen as at fishing would it be possible if I could do a day trip on the water with you after isolation it would mean the world to me but I completely understand if it wouldnt be possible

The bigger question is did you get to snack on some of the greenshell mussels? We were on a charter in the South Island and ate them right on the boat. Musses and oysters back in the states will never be the same.

Way to handle that poor baby hammer. could have just cut the hook in half with pliers rather than rip its eye out and damage all of the nerve endings on its nose that it uses to hunt with. weak

Surprised you took the risk to get the hook out of that shark. Good on you for doing it. I notice most YouTube fishers won't do that, totally understand why they don't though.

Come back to the Everglades. I surfaced a true #River Monster# yesterday. An unbelievably big catfish or bowfin at least 75lbs maybe even more. Just come bro!

You stayed the night at red cliffs, stayed many a night there, and fished those exact farms. They are amazing for snapper, hard to land a kingfish in though ha ha
