In Part 2, we now better understand the challenges we'll face on this trip. We've worked through our portaging system and are feeling confident that we'll be able to cover ground more quickly going forward. What we don't realize, though, is that some of the greatest challenges of the trip are coming up in this episode

Why on earth would someone with ww experience lead rookies in to a extended class 3 section with fully loaded 17' tripping boats? And in cold water, cold air temps without dry suits. I imagine anyone watching this with ww experience found themselves screaming at their computers. If you really want to run the rapid, carry the gear first, run it in an empty boat.

Your making your cowboy coffee wrong if theres grounds in your cup. The trick is to add a few tablespoons of ice cold water right to the kettle before you pour it. Tapping the bottom of the kettle on a rock or table also helps to get the grounds to the bottom. Pour slowly from the top and you will have ground free cowboy coffee

Hey Robert! Love the videos! Keep up the great work man. You are living the dream.
On a side note, have you ever thought about heading up to the northwest to try and catch some salmon?

this series is great! I hope in the end you will do a video summarizing your lessons learned, gear you packed, wished you didn't pack, etc. Can't wait for the next one.

An easy way to find out what gear you don't need is to do a couple portages. Also you should be carrying those canoes on your shoulders with a yoke.

Really enjoying the series! I'm glad Rex caught some fish because he was looking very sad for the majority of this video.
