We're overclocking the EVGA FTW3, ASUS TUF, and Gigabyte Eagle variations of NVIDIA's RTX 3080 GPU (and using the stock coolers). We're going to use 3DMark (mostly Port Royal) for 3D graphics benchmarking. Our goal is to quickly bin our RTX 3080s to find the best one, because we're going to need to put one of these under liquid nitrogen for overclocking this weekend with Joe from Bearded Hardware. Initial overclocking efforts are focused on the air coolers (stock coolers) and on figuring out who has the highest power target, which is the most common limiter. We may have to do shunt mods to expand it further. The GN Wireframe Mouse Mat is in stock and shipping now! It has already sold through 90% of this round, so if you want one of our most popular items ever, grab it soon! Very little inventory left. https://store.gamersnexus.net/products/gn-wireframe-mouse-mat The critically acclaimed GN PC Building Medium Modmat is also shipping now and in stock!

I love How these influencers are so quiet about the launch state of the 3080, releasing benchmarks and stuff not even mentioning how bad the situation is for us gamers out there, not speaking up for their audience, always quiet as if They're afraid of losing Nvidia's favor, if you can't step up and speak up for your audience which is 100% Gamers, (not Scalpers/Coorporate Clowns) that send you free merch, you don't deserve a view let alone a like on your videos..

Just out of pure interest id love to see benchmarks with the back plates taped closed to see if with these designs the holes in the backplates matter at all. (incase you need more content the coming weeks). A new video with ram overclocks on these beasts would be nice aswel to see if the cpu bottlenecks at 1080p and 1440p can be helped a little with fast ram like 4000 cl16.

I keep asking myself: What happens with thousands of resellers with hundreds of RTX 20XX stocked and costing more than a RTX3080? Is Nvidia covering for their eventual losses for slashing prices? Hmmm think about it. Boycott strategy? Yeah, I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory however; put your entrepreneur hat on: What would you do?

I still find it funny that people are comparing this card to a 2080Ti. Its the flagship model people, that would be the 2080 you should be comparing it to and its got amazing specs vs the 2080, 10 gb of GDDR6 vram instead of the 8gb the 2080 had, more tensor cores, just basically more...... can't wait for the 3080Ti to arrive.

It sucks that Gigabyte sent you the crappiest card they make to review and not the Aorus line of 3080 Xtreme. I own a 2070 Xtreme and this thing is bad ass, can only imagine how amazing the 3080 Xtreme would be. Hopefully you guys will be able to do a review of that card.

I'm happy you guys could get some 3080s, so you can inform us on what to do when we get one (:
I had the chance to get a zotac 2080 trinity (I think that was the name) but I'm hoping for an 3090. Does anybody actually knows when we can get the sweet 3090 Kingpin?

just wrote to smbd: Dont suck up to excuses for weak people Dont waste time thinking about lies. Nvidia knew demand. Had time to prepare. They use hype to sell rest of 20 series & they planned to buy time 2 c what amd specs/sales will be. Stay focused.
