Hardware news this week talks about how 9/17 orders for RTX cards still haven't shipped, also the A6000 & A40 GPUs, Intel's 11900K, and Razer's cringe-worthy credit card. Franz: Dont expect any stock this month. If they sell out now and dont have stock for November then everyone who is waiting/deciding between amd and nvidia will definitly go for amd. They will do everything they can to have stock in november is my theory. Because psychologically everyone who wants a 3080 desperately will buy a 3080 when its in stock later on anyway no matter what amd brings. Also they probably make more money on the 3070s so I expect a massive stock on those plus christmas is coming.

ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL numbers of RTX 3000 series cards received by Proshop. I'm sure other Etailers have faced the same. HOW can Nvidia release a GPU or multiple GPU's like this and not have at least a thousand units to each Etailer?
I KNOW GN covered it in a previous video, saying that this doesn't look like a paper launch, but when you consider that Nvidia KNEW the RTX 2000 series sold like SHYTE because they were OVERPRICED and UNDERPERFORMED (compared to GTX 1000's) and more people would be trying to upgrade than in the past two years, this WAS a paper launch.
Thank You GN.

I've received my Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080 from Proshop and they got my order primarily due to their category manager interacting directly with the community via forums on a daily basis. This is pretty unique and very good customer service. By playing with open cards like this they are currently getting a lot of good will in the community in Denmark (it is a danish company selling to the nordics, Germany and Poland).

These challenging times translates to A bunch of desk jockeys that are afraid of the flu .
I haven't stopped, nor even slowed down working during this entire crapshow. There's over 3,000 people where I work, no one wears a mask, literally every day we are in very close proximity of each other while working on things, and approximately ZERO people have died. ZERO.

The RTX A6000 is the new 'Quadro' because they've retired the name, there will be no more Quadro products now, that name is now gone. It sounds mental and far too big of a move to be this silent but genuinely the pro cards from Nvidia are no longer called Quadros. And that A40 card is what the Tesla was, they retired that name last year. I just released a video explaining.

Not surprising numbers since reviewers universally seemed to have complaints about every single card except the TUF. Thats kind of a bummer, its not unusual to have a black sheep in each launch, but to have a clear pack leader thats also the cheapest? Thats kinda bananas. That cards gonna end up being a rare commodity in a launch of rare commodities.

I added myself to the queue for EVGA on day one. I received my e-mail from them and ordered my FTW3 Ultra Gaming card yesterday. They indeed have not gone past the first day of auto notifies. The 3000 series should be taught in school as a lesson in supply and demand.

I've pre-ordered my 3080 from Overclockers UK, and they have sent me an email telling what position in the queue I am, and that they will keep me updated with other emails in the future as my position changes. I'm position 984 BTW!!!

With all that backorder undelivered i somehow expect that some people will have bought the next gen card (or atiamd) and suddenly receive the old model rtx package from back in the haunted year 2020 because they forgot...

One thing I disagree with is Steve saying the extra 500 was a big deal for those 4 people. It clearly wasn't a very big deal if they had the money available to impulse buy a 3080 at 1.6x the normal price lol
