These cpu's look great but they do have a one small problem... They should have either release them a lot sooner or just skip them for the next gen. Cause right now for 1440p and 4k they really don't matter at all. The difference is about 1 to 3 fps max.. + this is the last generation for AM4 support motherboards. If you buy these cpu's + a new graphic card which are quite better then the previous generation you will need a lot of money. So unless someone is wealthy or a programmer that needs the fastest cpu for work as well as gaming i really don't see the good use for them. In 3 to 4 years people will have to change everything cause there will be no more support which kinda sucks..

Hey Steve and crew! One quick question. Would using a graphite thermal pad be better than thermal paste for these extreme overclocks? Since they are usually only a few degrees off of paste anyways, it shouldn't matter at those extreme cold temperatures you run at. I would like to think it would have the advantage of not freezing like paste as well. Just something to consider and that I am curious about. Thanks for the content, always professional and informative!

On a serious note. What's the ventilation in your office like? Where I used to work, there was a large spill (small ones don't matter) which knocked too people out, someone, seeing them both passed out through a glass pane, walked into the room to check on them and passed out as well.

Sold out as per usual, thankfully did not need a new processor, but unfortunately the same will probably happen for the 6800XT. Is there any guidelines to the specific hour, when a component releases? I can only find info on the release day, not hour. Either way, keep up the good work

Good stuff. except at 1:00pm EST... EVERYONE was EMPTY. ALL SOLD OUT. except ONE company that makes those 4.5k custom builds. even best buy was empty. When do they re-stock? I need the CPU, the MB and the CARD.. and why did they split the card release vs. chip release.

I still can't grasp how can someone manipulate with liquid nitrogen so casually
Steve looks like a great man but he makes seems everything so easy! I spend more than hour just to instal Noctua nh-d15.
Great video as always. Thanks guys!

Isn't nitrogen itself is inert but it displaces O2 ? Maybe you need a ventilation there Steve expecially if you are getting headaches, you do not look so good here.

How can Liquid Nitrogen turn into ice and then into water?! The vaseline is for protecting against condensation, isn t it?
