I bought a skytech shadow with a r5 3600 and a 2060 a few months back reluctantly and I was a bit worried about it based on reviews and not really wanting to go pre built in the first place but I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up changing out the RAM for my own use case and ended up getting my hands on a 3070 sooner than expected as well. Build is solid and used mostly good parts right out of the box. The one thing that I did not want to keep running was the cougar 600w PSU especially with the 3070 on it s way so I changed that out for a Corsair RM750x. That being said the cougar was 80+ bronze and probably would have been alright in all reality. I m now also considering upgrading to an R5 5600x. I m realizing I bought a prebuilt to have them attach a motherboard to a case for me.

The gamdias psu is actually not bad I wish they were modular but I used a 550 bronze in a i5 10400 b560 1660super 32gbcorsair vengeance pro 3200 ram build for almost a year before I switched to a 3060 and artic2 cooler now I have the EVGA 750 gold but no complaints it serves me much better then my ares 1000 and my gigabyte 850 both gold and both seem to just not work and smoked my Mobo in my ryzen5800 build with 3060ti and Arctic 2 280 gigabyte x570 elite and one of my fans smoked out instantly when I went to turn it on so know I have to go back to square one on it very unfortunate

I have a skytech gamming prebuilt (got before learning about computers and being able to build my own) and their support/warranty service is garbage
Edit: this was 4 years ago also the cable management was garbage along with the case (it was a thermaltake archangel)
Edit2: they also included an asrock motherboard manual even though the actual motherboard in the case is a gigabyte board
Edit3: it was also a fx-6300, 1050ti, 1tb hdd, 8gb ddr3 ram, & 500w thermaltake 80+ psu for 750-1000 usd, was may 2017 when it was purchased

The BIOS is probably the one that came preinstalled on the motherboard given that there has been a steady release cadence of BIOS updates for all the x#70 and b#50 over the time period since release. For example, my MSI x570 board has 5 BIOS releases for this year alone (14 all up since release in June 2019) and MSI has been really bad at getting the BIOS updates out on time to match the AGESA updates (they have even skipped AGESA releases because a new one came out before the BIOS was finalised).

I'm a little curious. Do you plan on testing one of System76's desktop PCs one day? Their viability as gaming PCs will certainly increase further with the launch of the Steam Deck and its impact on the Linux gaming ecosystem, but I would be very interested to know what you might have to say about their cases and build quality. From the animations posted on their website, it seems like they are built to be easy to repair, upgrade and efficient.

There appears to be a big difference between the Chronos and the Omega, which is only a few hundred more.
I bought the Omega back in March since it came equipped with a 3070, which was unobtainable at the time. I have been extremely happy with it.
Onmega 2199: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.80 GHz, RTX 3070 8 GB GDDR6, 1 TB Gen4 SSD, 16 GB DDR4 3200, X570 Motherboard, 750W Gold PSU, and a 360mm AIO.

I got a Skytech right at the beginning of the price surge. Shadow with a 3060ti and 5 3600, 1 TB nvme and 16GB of 3000mhz for 1400.00!
Had some memory BSODs when enabling DOCP and they sent me new RAM within a week. Mobo and cooler were enough but cheap so I got a vetroo 240 AIO and a asus gaming b450 f 2 mobo and I love it. Warzone 140 FPS temps never over 68 C
