Skyrim SE and high resolution textures is only real with mods. I have the original and SE with all textures extracted and they are the same resolution. For example Original horse texture horse04.dds is 512x512, Skyrim SE it is 512x512. That's the texture Shadowmere uses as well as other dark solid colored horses... it is just a dark brown fur texture and not the sable black Shadowmere should have. 512x512 is not high definition in the slightest for an NPC's texture. 1024x1024 wasn't either when SE was released. 2048x2048 is bottom barrel for HD. 512x512 is 8x less definition than the bottom barrel HD and 16x below 4096x4096.
Skyrim to Skyrim SE was just 3D model version changes using automated tools. That's the extent of the resource changes. They updated the lighting and rendering engines as a beta for Fallout 4's lighting and rendering engines. What better place to see how the new renderer works than the previous games? And we all missed the Skyrim SE SE version right after Fallout 76 was released and that games new render engine, instead they skipped to the Shartfield test beta version.

Noctua is amazing. It shows so much pride in their products, but also respect for their customers, that they actually provide free upgrade kits. I was surprised when I found out that I could get a free mounting kit for AM4 with the old Noctua cooler that I had been using on AM3 for many years. Noctua also makes their kits available to buy as well. Better yet, AM5 is apparently going to be backwards compatible with AM4 coolers, making it so that ALL AM4 coolers are going to work on AM5 (you'll just need to make sure that your cooler provides adequate cooling for your CPU).
It's really great to see a company doing the exact opposite of forced obsolescence. I've had my cooler for about 8 years, and I think it was originally released about 10 years ago. At this rate, it will easily last another 10 years (fans still going very quiet, and I wonder how long it will take before either of them eventually need to be replaced). I know that at least some Noctua fans are rated to have a MTBF of about 15 years of 24/7 use at full speed, FYI.

Steve u got Mercury's commercial market category coverage wrong, erroneous analyst server covers uni, 2P, way 4 way, 8 way but Mercury's difference is covering data processing systems, transaction processing systems, storage server, communications network and switching and routing and network control and packet processing plane and HPC and supercomputing everything a Xeon or Epyc or AMD 64 might be relied for. mb

Giggelbit's PR VP: What can we do to distract from this dumpster fire that are our PSUs?
PR Intern: Don't worry boss, I've arranged for us to get hacked. That'll distract, and it's so common these days it's out of the news cycle after a single day, two at the most
AMD/Intel Lawyers: Bonus time boys.

Dunno why they bother porting and remastering a game like Skyrim with the same bugs as the previous version that broke so many side quests that I got annoyed to the point I simply quit playing it without even finishing the main storyline quests.

AMD seems to have stabilized with CPUs. The 5800x has been on sale for a few months now and the 5600x seems to have hit the same boat. As well it looks like the 5900x is starting to get a steady flow of supply too cause you can get it at msrp

I contacted ARTIC to see if they will offer 1700 mounting kits for sale or for free for their current models. Waiting on a response, i'll update when I hear back from them. They seem like a solid company that will offer a solution.

Noctua keeping this trend up of helping customers out with new hardware is really good, had the same experience with Seasonic when I needed an extra EPS 8 pin cable, they sent it for free and even included Seasonic branded gummies.

The fact that I can appease ADHD brain and play the video at 1.5x speed and still clearly understand what is being said amazes me. Huge props to the guy who puts together the audio in your videos! Super clean!
