Student loan stuff in USA is so F-ed up, in my country all unis are 90% free (only the private schools cost a bit) u have to pay only 500-1000eur for a year usually. everytthing up to and including high school and vocational school(that includes high school) are free and payd by the government, all the food up to elementary school (and including) is free, paid by government. And in all levels we have lots and lots and lots of interest classes/groups(there is no direct translation as there's no such thing in usa or in majority of other english speaking countries, meaning after school day you can join up a intrest group not like in USA as these you have a room and most of the time teachers of that field come and help to do stuff and projects, but mostly free rain on the student groups to learn and do activities related to that field/intrest. Some most known for usa students are like physics, optics, cinematografy, art, cooking, swimming, wrestling and so on In my school, there was (one year i counted all of them) 114 different, and i was in a relatively small school of 800-1100 kids, my school was one of the top most intrest groups in the country for a school. As i understand now it's even better as the average now is just over 100 for all the schools, top said to be someting 180. Overall school system here is quite relaxed and real good (the main reason why nationally it's rated by international OECD test the top 3 in world and top 1 and 2 in several areas in EU, usa is far behind. Also a bonus is that all learn 3 or more forein languages. :) No wonder Estonia is one of the best Internet and IT country in the world; )

Today I spent too much time kitting out my new dream pc. It s a dual system modded 1000d with a 3990x on the designare motherboard with 4 1tb 970 pros, and 4 2tb aorus gen4 drives on the add in card, 4 4tb 860 pros, and 4 16tb seagate drives, 2 rtx 8000s, an AE-9 sound card, and 256gb of 3600 c18 ram with dominator platinum heat spreaders swapped out. The second system is a 3950x on the asrock phantom itx board with 32gb of 3600 c16 ram also swapped with dominator platinum heat spreaders, 2 4tb 860 pros, 2 16tb seagate hdds, and one rtx titan. All cooled by a nickel and chrome custom loop with dual 420mm, and both 240 and 360 radiators using 26 of the slim chromax noctua fans with chrome fan grills and all chrome brass tubing with chrome fittings. Powered by the 1200w phanteks psu with custom silver cables, an aquaero 6 fan controller with all of the accessories and fan splitters, two distroplates to fill in the empty space, and dual chrome d5 pumps. The thing costs 40 grand and I would only watch YouTube videos and occasionally play games because I only actually want to game when I can t. Lol I just want an all chrome custom loop on the fastest consumer hardware available on earth. On the bright side, it s considerably less than a Mac Pro.

I was curious to know which edition of Windows 10 you used for this test. I believe someone asked the question at some point in the chat and you answered with with the version number instead of the edition. However, that s understandable as the question wasn t worded correctly or perhaps the person really just wanted to know the version number. The reason I want to know the edition is that AnandTech noted in their review that the 3990X is limited in the Home and Pro editions of Windows 10 due to the 64 thread limitation and Home and Pro version think you have two CPU with combined 128 threads when using the 3990X. This tends to reduce performance and you actually gain performance by going down to 64 threads. Or you could use the Workstation or Enterprise, which do support more threads and that s where you d get the most performance with this processor on the Windows platform. If you tested with Windows 10 Pro, I m curious to know if you would be willing to do the final review with the Workstation or Enterprise edition of the OS.

So i have a question as i agree with statement Why leave free performance one the table I have always overclocked using prime95 and since the avx update with ave. But all i do is game and err oc. And taming prime95 on my r5 3600 is something i want to do. Basically i get 93c at 4. 2ghz and i need over 1. 4v. Its all stock atm as im considering watercooling just to tame the heat as really overclocking and prime95 are as much of a game for me as gaming. Should i lap my cpu? my cooler is a arctic freezer 240, Gigashite ax370 gaming 5, RM1000i, Corsair C70.

An object's temperature is a measure of how much its atoms move the colder an object is, the slower the atoms are. At the physically impossible-to-reach temperature of zero kelvin, or minus 459. 67 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 273. 15 degrees Celsius, atoms would stop moving. Electricity can't flow at those temperatures. I may be wrong but it may be due to the wires on the chip are so thin. at 7nm only 70 atoms (atom=100picometers on avg) fit in that space.

Reminded of years ago when I overclocked my AMD AM386DX-40 to 50MHz with a crystal replacement for a total system performance increase of 25% over stock. I even had to add a CPU heatsink! Upgraded CPU L2 cache to 256KB using -15 DIPs (15ns) IIRC. Also added a Cyrix Math co-processor so I could run AutoCAD 11. It would run faster than many 486DX-33s at the time, then the 486DX2-66 and 486DX2-50 came out so I had to upgrade to an AMD 486DX4-120 to compete.

Why are they demonetizing people who mention the koruna wirus? Because they rehearsed it that way. The only reason anyone would try to legislate truth is that they are perpetrating a narrative of falsehoods. Why did Bill Gates and the World Economic Forum do a simulation of this outbreak a few weeks before it actually happened? Hmm. I wonder if the rich and powerful elites knew something ahead of time? Go do a search for Event 201.

I learned so much from this stream, just wish I could have seen it live. Thanks for the great video. I doubt I will ever have the opportunity to do LN2 OC'ing, but knowledge is power, and every minute so far (only half way through) has been thoroughly entertaining. Tech Thordin is a really funny guy, really enjoy the banter between you guys, he seems like a really great fella. Thanks again for the great content!

28: 08 Why keep anything stock when you can get free performance? Pardon my ignorance: My main reason for never overclocking was because I know I have to live with my hardware for anywhere from 4 to 7 years before I can afford an upgrade. I'll sacrifice performance to keeps temps down and improve reliability. Is that reasonable? If OC'ing only has a negligeable effect on hardware life than maybe I need to consider it.

i still love my i9-9900KS, build my new rig this past Nov 2019 and all 16 threads are running at 5. 03 to 5. 12 right out of the box on a GA Z390 motherboard with 128GB of Corsair 32GBx4 DDR4 2666 RAM so i am pretty happy with that, i might try OCing later. As for the race car thing, i enjoy my aging Porsche 911 C4, and its great for both daily use as well as getting tickets at 170 mph,
