So, Intel is pulling AMD's tactics from the FX age? Remember the FX-9K series? Same shite, just clocked to ludicrous speeds just to keep up. I REALLY hope we aren't entering a reversed age where we'll have AMD well ahead of Intel for 5-8 years, either company so far ahead with the other having nothing new to show for near a decade is bad for all of us. It allowed Intel to jack the prices so much and pretty much not progress their tech at all for the past 10 years. People don't seem to get that the only reason AMD caught up in such a spectacular way is because Intel got complacent. If they kept innovating, AMD would have needed a miracle to bridge that gap. Worst of all is, Intel was so complacent it appears they didn't even have something on the backburner in case a competitor would show up again. Zen has been out for 2 years now and the only response Intel has managed to give is the same old shit at slightly higher clockspeeds.

On the Intel vulnerabilities, as far as I've seen since spectre and meltdown intel hasnt been making an effort to hide these vulnerabilities which I would think we should be happy about unless I'm not seeing something that I should be. While important to highlight the problems I think we should also be happy that they're being disclosed. I dont think there is proof of negligence on their end, it looks more like they tried to push performance too hard. I'm wondering frankly if something similar in nature not necessarily in execution is going to happen on ryzen or threadripper. People design these chips and people arent perfect. Feel free to correct me if I'm incorrect on something. I always enjoy learning things I don't know about. Edit: And I seem like an idiot as I watched another 30 seconds and steve did just that. Edit:

YouTube shilling for China. Pathetic. China released Covid-19, most likely through incompetence, from their only biosafety-level-4 facility in Wuhan, China. China tried for years to get the highest level research facility only to repeatedly fail due to not meeting standards. It was only with the help of France that they were finally able to get one. Just happens that Wuhan, the source of the virus, houses their only BSL4 facility, which studies various coronavirus strains. This isn't controversial. These are facts. No matter how much China tries to cover it up, their incompetence is responsible for this epidemic.

I never comment on Youtube videos, but REALLY Steve? Too afraid to say CHINA, or CORONAVIRUS, or maybe even COVID-19. Gotta protect your ad revenue and keep those coffers full. China, Coronavirus, CCP, Freedom of Speech. Be free, say the words, and f the algorithms of Youtube. You know the virus will eventually collapse your supply streams. Writing is on the wall, and I hope words in the comments help to mess with the system enough to effect the system. You said you weren't a shill, but it's odd that you can't say those certain words.

I read the malwarebytes report and I they say Macs still _outpaced_ windows by nearly 2: 1 (emphasis mine. I believe this is different to your report that security threats on macs outnumber those to windows at a ratio of 2: 1 at 12: 43 I think Malwarebytes is saying that mac is experiencing double the _growth_ in number of threats per endpoint than windows, not that there are double the _number_ of security threats. Thanks for reading the exact quote though! Excellent reporting as always, I think it was just a small error.

Hi Steve I Was one of the culprits who joked about the Who cares about the names anyway - sorry: ) I thought you were making a sarcastic remark about terrible names in general and found it hilarious, so I just wanted to capitalize on your joke by repeating it: P But I completly get what you're saying (now, until it's released, nobody should care about the name too much. Otherwise everyone should freak out about Project Scarlett and codenames like that.

Youtube and their damn controversial content censorship. Youtube bent over to advertisers in the past and now everything is censored to hell and back so that nothing that isn't advertiser friendly is demonitized, but what Youtube (and all internet sites need to do) is tell advertisers where to shove it. Advertisers need youtube more than youtube needs any individual advertiser. They'll suck it up and buy ads, or completely miss the largest market.

Mac isn't safe from virus, it was just too much of a investment for most virus makers to code for back when it was powerpc hardware, Now mac users run the same x86, x86-64 as pc which is MUCH cheeper/easier to get a hold of, and their blind belief that running mac makes them safer, well their vocal bragging about it just make people who hate them, and have the ability want to hurt them even worse. Cause humans suck that way, on both sides.

Yeah everyone should know that malware can affect any device with an internet connection and CPU. Apple simply isn t worth the effort for someone spending time and money trying to create malware due to market share. Though that is def changing. There are absolutely some built in defenses in macOS and iOS that help in making it not worth the trouble as well. Simple solution is stop installing malware for most users though rofl

Negative latency is just as bad as playing with aimbot. In this case they have an AI pressing the buttons for you, shortly before you actually do it. Which in turn can lead to the hilarious moments of you taking shots without even having pressed a button. For this reason alone, any game having checks against players using aimbots (and the like) Stadia players could (or rather should) automatically be deemed a cheater.
